My family are in the process of booking Florida for first 2 weeks of August 2027. Not yet. I forgot to mention that in addition to next year’s SON and SON 2 finals Vastervik will hold the Swedish GP in 2028 and 2029.

They must see a gulf between their level and the level of the top lads... People say that want "new faces" in the GP's, but the bottom line is the older heads, of many GP years standing, are still considerably better, and even, still now, more attacking and aggressive.... Add in Bewley, Lindgren and Kubera to this weekends action and it would have raised it up even more, even higher from the incredible standard it was.... Two out of three ain't bad.... South stand was crazy especially when Kurtz won, poles starting chants throughout etc. But all you can hear are the prawn sandwich brigade in expensive seats. Sadly every time the camera panned to the crowd it did look a little that way, the average age of those they panned to must have been age 50! The fanbase/lack of excitement in the crows not a great advert really to any young fans watching at home. The racing was superb across both nights, I am still not sure two GPs across the same weekend is good for the sport. In most cases riders that not dialled in on the first night, are probably not going to be dialled in on the second night. The TV production also seemed to focus on riders battling for 3rd/4th and a couple of times missed a race at the front.
topaz325
"Speedway from the Gods" I think Friday night the racing was better , on Saturday it took a few heats to get going but ended in a Crescendo . One night GP at the NSS would be ideal but financially its not viable with the current capacity of the stadium. The Fanzone has run its course a bit unless it has more substance cannot really see the point , we went in walked round in 5 minutes and came out. glenantony
Just want to add to the praise and thanks for the two stunning GPs - the racing was so exciting as the track comes to the riders as the meeting proceeds and no matter what anyone says, the fans in the stadium loved it even if they were filling in their programmes! Met some nice fans, including a young man who has been seeing BV since 1955! He was as excited as anyone around when Kurtz won! I am happy to get a 2 for 1 for such high quality speedway and I'll try and be back next season too - despite having my car broken into in a city centre car park, it was worth it (almost!) I feel like both nights were the opposite to each other personally. Friday started off electric and gradually weakened until it finished, whereas Saturday started slower and ramped up to an epic final. If I were given the choice I would choose Saturday as a brilliant final leaves a better taste in the mouth. Agree Friday semi and final spoilt by the rain but I feel overall slightly better on Friday but I’m nitpicking both nights were very good
