So to be fair, giving credit where credit is due, he had a good meeting Monday & seemed to be making a real effort. No more issues with bike? BUT! Dispite beating Holder & running Rowe all the way to the line, i feel he let the winning point slip in Ht14. Letting Flint (not a bad rider, but not scored a bean until then) catch him on the line was, in my view, poor riding. However, NKI coming in 3rd was also poor. Giving Batch & NKI benefit of the doubt in Ht15. Pickering seemed to be riding better lines & had more mph in his engine. Disappointing the scoring from Klindt, Lidsey & Zagar. That's 2 home meetings on the trot that NK hasn't stepped up!! Lastly, have to say that was the best RACING so far, the passing & re-passing was very entertaining. Long may it continue. Lets hope some money is found to get a half decent top liner as it does seem support is there and by all counts with a bit more work the track could be really good maybe the legendary extra support that was promised for them will turn up. Maybe Harry will announce the long awaited seven figure sponsorship deal with Linda in tow waving the used McDonalds bag around with all the teams names in it. Big points for Rybnik in Poland yesterday no doubt next outing will be 3 or 4 points again whoever he’s riding for

ShanoXtra
Fair play Northampton, their management is doing a better job than us witches at the moment and I mean that. Good race nights, good team building, taking action on replacing riders when they can. We could learn a thing or two from over there. I really hope Northampton don’t finish bottom! I said Ellis should have replaced Lawson for us, we won’t win anything anyway, so at least give us a good team spirit and get people enjoying coming to Ipswich instead of sitting in the pits next to that moody bastard Lawson.
mikebv
Surprised Batch has gone.... Been decent recently... Does Mike need him, or Matej, at BV come play off time..?. Fair play to make the changes though, Matej just phones it in nowadays...

I would have agreed, but Adam Ellis could make the GB team, so I am sure he would want to show what he can do... Particularly head to head against those who maybe are currently ahead of him given his absence from the UK... And mine - dropping Batch when he is seemingly in good form and at reserve doesn’t seem a great choice to make - but I suppose the promotion are damned if they do and Damned if they don’t! Can only assume that he might be out for a bit and they want to ring the changes. Ellis - I would have been happy to see him at Ipswich this year - he will probably be better than Zagar. paulnolan
Zagar has been rotten of late and Batchelor is injured (and can't stay at reserve forever). Ellis at least gives fans a "home" rider to cheer for (if they're that way inclined) and I know I'm more forgiving of a youngster developing like McDiarmid that a journeyman on his way out. Positive changes - shame Wright for Klindt couldn't come in, too.

Woke23
Dropping batch is an outrageous decision to be honest. He's posted today saying he has been doing physio and would have been back for this week's fixture. You've now replaced batch who in his last two meetings had top scored for Northampton with a young Aussie who has never rode around Northampton or many of the Premier League tracks at that. Baffling decision, especially when you have others in the team scoring close to zero every meeting.
