PC63
I agree with that. It’s been a really good season attendance wise, not so much on the track unfortunately, so it would be good to have a meeting like that to keep the interest going for a little longer. Tinker
If Northampton race next season (no reason why they won't), I think they should be allocated the British Final. Becoming pretty stale at BV and a new venue, next year at least, is required. Promote it big time with a Wednesday or Saturday meeting and I think it could be a big success.
PC63
I agree. Northampton as a venue has proved itself with plenty of free parking, very professional and friendly organisation on race nights by the stadium staff, very impressive attendances and, overall, good facilities and a good race night experience. It is in a perfectly sited central location for supporters from all over the country. It definitely deserves to have shared meetings allocated to it. paulnolan
Hopefully the Tai Woffinden Testimonial will be a test run for those kind of meetings. With the field he could attract, I imagine there'll be a brilliant crowd. Another tick in the promotion's off-track column.

Another tick in the promotion's off-track column. its good to see the support is there, and by speedway standards a decent stadium, granted the current management team are temporary custodians but it would be great if they could get a really good team sponsor for 2027 and someone on board with some financial clout maybe dear old Nigel. I still think depending on standard of league in 2027 something like Thompsen, Iverson, Zach Cook, Kye Thomson, Becker, Scott, Bailey (assuming he's willing to come to UK) would be a great side and should win most home meetings and most importantly you have seven committed riders who will try every meeting.
