Woke23 Posted yesterday at 06:11 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:11 PM Track was well prepared but as always, the sun won with regards the dust. Does dust make it a bad track? Absolutely not. Some superb racing today and we seen more passing in the first heat than we did in the whole of the meeting yesterday. Cluff surprised me. The guy can ride a bike but clearly doesn't like the more technical tracks like plymouth and Edinburgh.

Neila Posted yesterday at 06:33 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:33 PM Well that was a pleasing result, was expecting the comets to lose at home, with the published team, but 6 of the guys stood up to be counted, fantastic racing by both sides at times, and the crowd was a lot better than expected after last nites result. Well done to the Comets this is how speedway should be. 🔵⚪🏁😀 Can we swap cluff for ethrington please Edinburgh??

Good luck to Berwick in the semi finals, it’s about time Berwick won something again 😝 Captain Jye is all refreshed after a season away and could be the one to lift it. CTD26 Posted yesterday at 07:08 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:08 PM If what I’m hearing is correct, that was Etheringtons last meeting as a comet.

Woke23 Posted yesterday at 07:30 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:30 PM Its rather poor by the promotion to get Etherington in from the start. You've thrown a young lad, who hasnt been riding for that long, in to the deep end when its clear he's no where near the level required yet. As a result, you've probably affected his confidence and embarrassed the poor lad. I hope he bounces back and gets back in the champ in the coming years. If jakobsens injury is as bad as feared, it'll be a double change for comets. Do they go with a 4 and a 3? Or stick with a 5 and get Max Perry in? I'd like to see Sonny Springer/Senna summers get a shot in champ at some point in the future.

As soon as the averages changed he was always going to on the way out. Would be surprised if he didn’t know this himself.

paul84 Posted yesterday at 07:53 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:53 PM So pleased a decent crowd turned up to see that! Now that is proper Speedway! Great racing from both sides, whether Berwick fans admit it or not it’s irrelevant that was what we all go to see. We’re lucky to have that as our home track. Well done the Comets and thanks to the guests, the Comets won and Speedway won today.
