CTD26 Posted yesterday at 08:59 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:59 AM Overcast at the moment with blue sky in the distance. Light shower this morning but a lot cooler today so hopefully the track plays ball and gives us some good racing.

Marksman Posted yesterday at 09:07 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:07 AM From the Berwick match report, sums up our luck. 3 riders down already after 3 meetings A freak incident in the pits saw Cook apparently dislocate his shoulder while working on his bike and become the second comet to withdraw from the action.

Dayle Wood improved as the meeting wore on last night and was riding with a lot of courage until he suffered bike issues in his final two rides. Hopefully he has his bikes sorted and we can celebrate some points from him again at reserve. Please support your team today, I believe that although weakened we will still see some entertaining speedway and that is what it is all about. UTC ! Neila Posted yesterday at 09:58 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:58 AM Well today's another day, looks to be a very patched up comets side, but to all fans please come down to support the comets, it's only the 2nd meeting of the season, injuries happen, we carry on supporting the Comets through good and bad 😀🔵⚪🏁UTC

Going by inside intel he is going to wait until Cluff goes for a piss and abandon him in Cumbria in the hope he spits the dummy and chucks it. So I have heard. 1

H20 Posted yesterday at 10:18 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:18 AM Gonna be a struggle today now, after all the positives from the first home meeting this is the last thing we need. Surely there is a better option than Cluff available, he has hardly scored a point riding at reserve for Edinburgh this season. Its not even a phone call you would make asking if Cluff was available. And young Jamie is so far out of his depth its doing him and the Comets no good at all, why was he ever signed ?

At 10 o clock on a Saturday evening when a meeting starts at 3 o clock the next day, options for a rider to be available is very very limited. Some probably enjoying some down time with family or friends, would be virtually impossible to organise bikes/ mechanic and travel from say Oxfordshire or East Anglia at this short of notice. Got to turn up and support the Comets whatever team is put out. On a possible for monarchs fans cluff may double his points score by beating Jamie in heat 2 😀😀

I witnessed many shocking performances in 1980+81 that were worse than last nite. UTC 🔵⚪🏁😀
