Yeah , comes down to such incidents in tight matches. Klindt getting some stick, whether deserved or not it is a team sport and the best team usually wins. In the home leg the combined points from the bears 2,3,4,& 5  (14) was only one more than Nikolai's score. Completely agree he can be brilliant or underwhelming which is not what you want from your No1 where consistency is required .

I agree Klint rode very well on Friday, but it's not unreasonable to expect at least 8 or 9 points from the number one. Allen was also poor,

Pleased for Gary May and Plymouth. A shame BSN didn’t cover both legs of the semi. Was almost tempted to buy the stream tonight.

Should imagine the final against Poole is going to be packed out. Looking forward to it already.

You think Poole are going to be in the final?  Why?

Klindt is one of the biggest gating tarts, it doesn’t matter what track it is, you can’t say it’s because Plymouth is small because Nick used to ride for Wolves which was another track where throttle control and skill is more important than raw speed.

Would have liked BSN to show this, and it sounded like a cracker with it coming down to the final race.

Obviously he thinks they will win the semi final as most people do.

Most people thought Redcar would win as well and look what happened

I've been fortunate enough to witness several incredible sporting moments, from Argyle beating Liverpool in the FA Cup, Plymouth Albion going to Twickenham in the old Powergen Cup Final, several incredible cricket matches with Somerset...

That last night is right up there. But it wasn't just last night, it was 30 heats of speedway, every twist and turn with jeopardy involved. We all hoped the racing would be just as exciting as it was on Friday up in Redcar and the Coliseum delivered. People do enjoy bashing the Plymouth track but the racing across every heat last night was off the charts. Jake Mulford and Jody Scott belying their age and producing fabulous performances. Jason Edwards once again delivering around the Coliseum. Danny King and Scott Nicholls standing up when their club needed it most, Ben Barker leaving everything out there for the cause.

Tremendous crowd, fabulous atmosphere and I loved every moment of being on Gladiators TV commentating on that clash. The final will be a brilliant occasion whether it's the Bandits or the old foes the Pirates. Redcar left Devon with nothing but respect last night for playing a huge role in an excellent knockout clash. Fair play to the Bears fans who made the long trip down and added to the crowd noise.

The final will be a great reward for Mark, Garry, Barry and everyone involved with Plymouth Speedway for the hard work they are putting in to buck the trend of speedway's popularity in this country. It's alive and kicking in Devon that's for sure but they will not be going for the day out in the final... they want that trophy!

Reason I think Poole will be in the final is because I think the team is good enough to see off Berwick over two legs. Of course there could be an upset but I don’t think there will be. If it’s a Plymouth v Poole final it should be a thriller. Plymouth have King and Nicholls who are excellent around Poole, Barker who on his day can beat anyone, a reserve that was magnificent on his first ever visit. They are no pushovers this season.

Pirates normally ride Plymouth very well. So I think a close final in front of two packed crowds.

Redcar 1 to 5 getting some justified stick, but IMO the team manager is getting an easy ride. Our reserves scored 49 out of 89 points over 2 legs and weren’t used enough, IMO. How Jake Allen got 4 rides last night is remarkable. If the two reserves were good enough for a hear 15 each, they are good enough for a heat 13, im sure. 2 good meetings to watch, a bit of everything in it but thank heavens for Redcars 2 reserves.

Would be delighted to see Berwick win,it would make for a great final on slightly different tracks

Slightly different tracks 😲 their like chalk and cheese different,  Plymouths laal track would fit in half of sheilfield Park .  you need to travel to some other tracks my friend  just to see how different they are 😜😀🤣

Agree regarding Team  managers they have not got a lot of room for changes but you to give the best men on the night the extra rides.Dickson got it spot on at Berwick on Sat.Palovera and Fredricksen both got taken out for reserve.IT was the match winner IMO.

So frustrating to lose this tie particularly when your two heat leaders have vastly under performed in Klindt and Allan. Even more frustrating is that if it wasn’t for this stupid 8 point man rule at the start of the season we all know Danny king would have been a Bear this season. But our 3 young guys emerged with great credit , Mulford, Scott and Piper. Good luck to Plymouth but sadly like most teams I think you will get beat fairly easily by Poole.

I’ve seen a lot of people giving stick to the heat leaders. Klindt I think it’s justifiable.

however Allen and edwards I think are the sacrificial lambs for having strong reserves that everyone rave about.

in any other team Allen and edwards are at most number 3s or 4 and they score what they should.

reserves are very very good but the team has been designed that way!

I think Jake Allan would expect to reach an 8 point average if you asked him and Edwards isn’t progressing and has stood still, I get we should always have a strong reserve partnership but we should be expecting more than 0 for Edwards at home or 5 points between Klindt and Allan, simply not good enough I’m afraid.
