Lets hope the right people are helping Tom right now - form is temporary and all that! Agree with the comments from Mike above - he's having to ride against out and out no1s each meeting and that's not helping right not but he will get there! I wouldn't call it a disaster, not even sure it's a 5 horse race for the play-offs. Lynn having dropped 4 points at home (none scored away) and Witches having gained 2 points away (none dropped at home) is a great position for Witches to be in. My first thought was, its a great result for Lynn, as they try to avoid the wooden spoon. Don't really know what's happened to Brennan? Not the form I expected.

I get that he can ride in the champ but he won’t. There is no way he will add the championship to his season now. He will probably see it as a step back, he has just been unfortunate that things didn’t go well at Bydgoszcz this season, it’ll be a reset at the end of this season and go again with a different Polish club in M.2 Edited 11 hours ago by ShanoXtra . They've already said next year will be different and they are in talks for a big #1. Big brennan fan but unfortunately I struggle to see that average fitting in next year? Around that average you'd have thought King and Musielak would be higher up the queue? Club owe it to Tom imo. Can't watch his confidence be destroyed and then bin him off imo, It's only right that the Club stick by him through the re-building process. Tom could've signed elsewhere as an engine room rider or a No.5 instead of waiting all winter to ride @ No.1 for Ipswich.

At the Wednesday talk a couple weeks ago Coleman admitted he wasnt sure if he made the right decision sticking by the riders and not doing multiple changes to bring Doyle in. That loyalty might see him through this year, not so sure about into next. By the same reckoning King waited around as well? Everyone can't get a spot cause they waited this last winter when you know the team is being built differently. If theres only a spot for 1x 6/7 average guy, why does brennan get it ahead of anyone else?
FAST GATER
It seems to me Lynn is a track that you either ride well or not I believe many riders don't like riding there as they say the fence is less than forgiving .In his final season for Wolves PK threw a sicky ( almost unheard of from him)and would not ride at Lynn I assume for fear of injury . Tom’s 2024 average with Birmingham was 7.56 (inc bonus) from the tough second heatleader position. Tom’s 2025 average with Ipswich was 7.64 (inc bonus) from the easier third heatleader position. If that’s a great progression (0.08) then we will have to agree to disagree. Tom’s 2026 average with Ipswich is 6.26 (inc bonus) from the tough No1 position. I feel for the lad but he’s made his bed. And that was in a season that included two "weaker teams" in Oxford and KL... Last season there were two "weak teams" in Oxford and Birmingham that he rode against, and did so from the more protected No3 position... Meaning his average made him a No1 this season, but reality, when up against those who are also No1's, said he isn't a No1 really.. Coming off a serious injury, and becoming a No1, was always going to be a big challenge for a rider who naturally, currently, isn't at that level.. Witches finally sent packing. The racing was good - it seemed much slicker last night than it was the last time I went, maybe that's the answer for Lynn? Brennan was terrible, looked nervous, even when in good positions he gave them away easily. Obviously very low on confidence but Ht 13 was better. Hopefully he can focus on that. Doyle offered that help but the Club/Hurry said no because they didn't want to release three riders and it would've been an easy three picks imo. From a personal point of view, I think it's the Clubs job to re-build Tom after being partly responsible for his loss of confidence.

Would've put a lot of bums on seats and given the club a massive boost

Seemed to me they graded it regularly last night whereas against Leicester the dirt was allowed to build up out wide which made things tricky. Like I say, it’s almost unbelievable.
