100%...

Type in "adblocker" in Google and there are plenty of free ones to download..

I have zero adverts...

When accessing some websites it may say something like "we notice you are using an adblocker, would you consider switching ads on as it helps support our site"...

Just put decline or no...

You will still access the website..

Hi Mike

I am supposed to have an Ad Blocker. I think it's called Paddleblocker.

I just wondered, can you have two Ad Blockers?

Yes, but ideally run one, as two can impact each other. .

Uninstall the one that isn't working and try another...

I use "adblock for Samsung"...

Obviously it will depend on what phone you use WK...

Thank you very much for your help, Mike. I really do appreciate it. 👍🙂

At 81 years old, I find this tech stuff so difficult. 🙂

There does always seem to be dozens of "lurkers" daily...

Ironically, and suitably, a good many of them are "Guests"...:D

Russian bot farms helping the demise of Speedway in the UK... and they're doing a cracking job! Under the command of Rob Godfrov!

Had a different profile before but this one joined in 2005. Lucky to work with a rider for 9 years, lost my club Eastbourne a few years ago now and despite being part of a consortium to bring the sport back to Sussex the Dugard's made it clear they wont let the sport run at Arlington again.

Don't post that much anymore or go to many meetings but have sponsored a few riders over the years and now just sponsor Vinnie Foord.

He had a few user names! But his real name was John Hyam.

The late lamented Gustix - he was my friend. Sadly missed.

R.I.P. + John.

Joined in 2010, still had a local team then, and went regularly to almost all home matches and a few away, then 2012 it all changed when my team folded, now an occasional meeting attendee if happen to be near a still functioning team, but follow all results avidly

Joined 2010 as The White Knight, I had a previous Login, but I had a problem logging in one time and had to re register.

Used to view a lot but not post.  Characters like Shazzy Bird and Bryn were great and sadly no longer with us.  Shadders the Rye House fan was a good laugh.

See, you have to remember that a huge amount of the regular posters were "seniors", and sadly, old age has taken it's toll. Thing is, everybody was knowledgeable, everybody wanted to learn, and everybody wanted to "discuss" things in a reasonable and friendly manner.

There has been an increased number of younger members who have come on board, and love to bitch about us old'uns living in the past. Same as speedway in general, I suppose? Those of us who are still hanging on have become disenchanted by all the crap and insults posted on here.

The Years Gone By section was an incredibly active section of the forum, and that's what kept a lot of us going. Now, nobody seems interested in that, which is heartbreaking. Not only is speedway history such a big part of the sport, but we can learn from the past, instead of rolling on relentlessly, repeating the same mistakes that are/were never going to work.

British speedway is NOT dead. It still has a future, yet judging by the majority of comments you see on the BSF and Facebook groups, you'd think that it was dead and buried years ago. No, that was just the civility and respect that we had on this forum years ago...

I’m on here to try and resurrect it.
