Yes it is if they are both in the same team, if not makes Lawson better value and cairns less value, so that begs the question why did Lawson do it? To be honest I thought Lawson was poor at times last season, nothing to do with him letting Cairns win races. I think both their averages are accurate, not higher or lower than they should be. I can think of 3 possible reasons: 1 Lawson knew Cairns wasn't going to be invited back so it worked for Poole 2 Lawson was just looking after himself and his average and it just happened to affect Cairns 3 He wasn't, Cairns was just beating him 8 minutes ago, Neila said: Get that, also he has had a massive teen growth spurt, which may hinder him on a speedway bike It held Bewley back for one season whilst he adjusted. Could be the same for Cairns hence Poole letting him go?

Every rider had to wait their turn in the queue to go out but not Will, he thought he could just push to the front and go out when he wanted. Riders like Luke Harrison, Max James and Freddy Hodder were also there and waited just like everyone else. Even the odd times the likes of Steve Worrall and Max Clegg turned up, they waited. I used to hate it when you got to the front of the queue, adrenaline starting to pump, you get yourself all fired up and then 'Will's going out next, you're going to have to wait' proper makes you feel sick in your helmet. And all he ever did for the extra time he got on the track compared to everyone else was practice wheelies. I know he was 'just a kid' at the time, but he's an adult now and doesn't seem to have matured at all, in fact his head seems bigger than ever. Perhaps he needs a couple of seasons at a small club to knock him down a peg or two. Was a little rubbish in the pits too.

But i remember everyone used to moan about Darcy being immature when he was at Poole. Everyone grows up eventually.

Can’t see Fridays announcement giving too much away, Has Zach made his mind up? Slater is back in the US so don’t think he will be the announcement. Cairns and Newman are the 2 that I’m not sure will be back. so I’d expect Lawson or Cooper to be the announcement, Cooper they might save to a later date as it’s good media? Don't forget all the money daddy is throwing at him 😜 like Hancock as a coach on god knows how much £s. Can remember a couple of years ago they hired out Northside for a day along with Hancock in tow . Sometimes you can have the best of everything but need talent and most of all a good attitude to become better, not knocking will but seems to have a bad attitude compared to the likes of coops 🤔
WookieboyDon
Many had heard whispers about Cairns and his attitude before he hit 15 and it seems he only got worse once he made his Championship debut. That lap of honour of Poole during his first meeting...calm down lad. Was completely over the top and could have been construed as youthful exuberance, but we have seen since from his other antics that it's all about a show with him. He does it in completely the wrong way though. The screaming at himself before the race starts as if he needs to show the fans that he cares. The riding over other rider's gates, the pulling of cut-outs, the snarky comments in post match tv interviews. The list goes on. He needs to pipe down and just concentrate on his racing. The worrying thing is that he already has a mentor in Hancock but it hasn't calmed him or changed his attitude. Either Greg is just concentrating on the riding part, or he is passing on wisdom to Will but he isn't listening. The lad has serious talent but it isn't always about that. I worry that as his head gets bigger, he'll soon come up against the wrong person and he'll get fenced. How he reacts to that will show what kind of person and rider he is going to be. People have piled on since he said on camera that he doesn't care what other fans think, just what Poole fans think. Also what is the problem with doing a lap of honour running around. The young fans loved it. Sure he regretted it half way round when getting tired. 1
