Even so, JL has to have three rides so Redcar need to capitalise on this. As far as Edwards goes, rather an enigma. Not the sort of rider you can rely on to always deliver the goods.

Poole have a great side capable of entertaining and Redcar prepare their track for toe-to-toe racing (the polar opposite of what Poole do), so it should be a great meeting.

I stand corrected. Crashes aside, an absolute borefest so far.

Redcar deservedly in front by a margin. Pirates outgated all night. Weak guest at reserve and Newman not on the pace here. Redcar are fighting to keep their cup and are doing a great job of it.

Allen blocks Scott, costing him second. Edwards gets in Wright’s way, delaying him having any impact on the Pirates in heat 13 and in heat 14, Lambert failing miserably to pass Newman who was essentially standing still, having already gone from second and on a 5-1 to last in his previous heat.

Great comeback from Pirates. Would have taken a 12 point defeat at the halfway stage but the boys showed pure grit to claw it back nd it would have been closer had Lawson chain not sent fireworks into the night sky in heat 15.

Should make an exciting meeting tomorrow night. Pirates slight favourites.

So a 6 point deficit for Poole to make up. Time for another 60 point home win methinks.

Hopefully Lewi and Slater are fit enough to race and Cooper and Rocketman can get their machinery sorted.

Well that didn't go according to plan, for either team I guess loosing a 12 point lead ain't great, being 6 points down isn't either. Poole's mechanicals didn't help the cause, in a perfect world they wouldn't happen I guess. Jordy Loftus did help much either, I was expecting a couple points.

A 6 point deficit isn't the end of the world, sure Redcar do have some good riders but it will come down to who steps up tomorrow.
