You never changed jobs before? Known of anyone doing an apprenticeship with a company and then leaving? 3 years is a lot more than some clubs would've gotten.

Shame Tates time as a comet has come to an end. He’ll probably be looking to get a team place in Poland next season, and if it is the 2nd division, they mainly race Saturdays so that could be in his thinking too. All the best for the future.

This weekend, Tate Zischke has informed the promotion of his desire to ride elsewhere in the 2027 campaign. Despite every effort to retain Tate, we sadly accept his decision to leave the Comets following 3 seasons with the club. Tate joined the side in 2024 and has continually improved season by season, we wish him well for upcoming seasons and future events.

I don’t think you can blame the lad that much, he’s rode for the club for 3 years which is a reasonable length of time and wants to move on. If he had slagged the club off or left mid way through a season I could maybe understand some anger but he’s within his rights to decide where he wants to ride

This should stop testimonials for the riders though (not benefit meetings).

When you are declaring yourself as self employed and the clubs get nothing from you moving to another club, then you should give up your right to a testimonial (surely cannot have it both ways).
