  1. Past hour
  2. He is getting on now though not going to be the same rider as he was a decade ago.
  3. Today
  4. Success is what brings in crowd levels. Has always been the case. Exeter were a prime example of that in the premier days, regular got well over 1000 a week due to winning at home 99 percent of the time even though they were awful away from home most of the time. And the racing there was absolutely rubbish, gate and go. Having a big council funded stadium with a nice, good race track doesn't guarantee a good crowd as Belle Vue have found out.
  5. Yesterday
  6. Maybe he is there learning how to get investment from Poland for Leicester, which is more important than watching the team elsewhere.
  7. Nonsense, if that were true Redcar and belle Vue would be packed every meeting but they are in exactly the same boat as everyone else. The racing makes no difference to crowd levels.
  8. Yeah, saw that. Not good news for Tigers on top of Mario not riding. 🙄
  9. Jordan Jenkins not the end of the world, in fact as suggested on another thread would make a potential swap for Bowes?!*-' Just hope Bomber is on an onit offit cycle cos then he'll be as great as he was on Wednesday.
  10. Assuming you mean Jenkins for Bowes? Yeah I'd go for that
  11. Could Garrity fit as replacement for Gilkes? Ducks for cover 🫣
  12. I would guess that Kyle Howarth will be missing Friday, looped it at the start, got signed out of the meeting and looked to be struggling to walk or put pressure on his left leg/hip
  13. Probably paid by the point tonight compared to a guarantee he got on Wednesday. Can always tell when watching him guest what he’s on.
  14. The Bomber scores 13+2 points for the Aces tonight, well why the duck didn't he pull his figure out last night?
  15. The SCB really need to look into this.
  16. I think both teams can be happy with that result. A home win and another bonus to The Aces. When taking the RR rides and Jason’s replacement into account we were around 35 points for the team average. Very weak and some 3 points behind the home team so to get the win over two legs was a fine achievement. Seems the racing was once again an issue at Foxhall. I’d role my eyes and anticipate more of the same had the last lot still been about who were happy to plod on no matter how poor the product - sound familiar. Being a like minded chap I wouldn’t be surprised to see Colman reach out to his British GP colleagues in an attempt to iron out these issues with the circuit. Might venture down again once the magic has been administered. Well done to all riders, staff & fans for being part of this meeting on a hellishly hot evening.
  17. A good solid all round performance tonight. In particular the 5 1 over Kurtz and Harris. On the subject of the track, asking a lay question. Have we spent too many years messing around with it?
  18. They need too tell these riders who want to go to Poland and sit in the pits earning money to make up their mind.Rather see a junior rider at least getting a chance.
  19. That's what happens with so few teams!!!!
  20. It doesn't matter this season as Ipswich are a lock for 4th place albeit cannon fodder in the play-offs. However Paul Hurry will need to learn from his mistakes and make sure that they don't happen again in 2027 like tonight where he threw away the Bonus Point by leaving Musielak out of Heat 15. It's not as simple as picking whoever scores the most points for you on the night, Far more too it than that, You need to look at who the points were scored against. For example, Lawson filled his boosts against Kildemand and Zischke all night, Where's Musielak beat Kurtz and Harris in Heat 11 as well as beating Harris in Heat 4. Overall I'm happy with the win.
  21. Go back to the Poole v Berwick thread and I say it like it is that our track is awful Pooles is as well just none of you can admit it
  22. Yes r/r got you pretty much what Cook would have scored having got 3,3 and 1 and a surprising 7 as well so 2 is roughly what he would have got Still not sure how we won the meeting with the weakest 1-7 we have had in years …. Last season Emil Doyle Ellis and Dan T replaced this season with Lawson Musielek Nicholls and PHB all vastly inferior to the riders they replaced and still Belle Vue can’t win Kurtz as expected scored heavily … might have been different if he had a big meeting at the weekend but we can’t be that lucky every time We can’t possibly beat Belle Vue over 2 legs they are so good at home where riders like Blodorn and Tate and Kildemand don’t have to really worry about a skill set just got to open the throttle and go for it …Kurtz and Harris do have the skill set to ride anywhere because they are class riders .. we need to hope they get Sheffield in the semis lol Bonus point doesn’t matter really we will still be 4th as even though we are weak we still better than Lynn or Northampton Maybe next season if we take out Tobi and King and have a couple of weaker riders than Belle Vue can win at Foxhall who knows
  23. And then add in competitions with little credibility, publicity, and reward, and you have a real problem... At least if there were even a million quid on the table for winning the league then it would stimulate some awareness and interest, and give meetings some reason to take place, other than to just let riders earn money...
