  1. Past hour
  2. Just put plenty of material on the track to suit the home riders, that'll help, oh yeah but then again the Leicester manager might moan yet again like last time and get the track altered coz it didn't suit his riders🫢
  3. I think both legs will very close. I’m expecting a Leicester win on aggregate but hoping the witches can battle to a overall win
  4. I know they qualified on merit but to see Tungate and Nilsson in the GP at the expense of Doyle and Fricke is just so poor
  5. I listened to the SGP interview with Richard Coleman in which he discusses similar and it did change my perspective a bit. We definitely can change the race nights to Monday - Thursday without trouble which would be ideal for Poole. However, if Glasgow want to keep Fridays it could present a problem. Every team that goes away to Glasgow will not be able to field a full team if one (or more) of their riders is in the Polish Ekstraliga meaning Glasgow are at an advantage. His comments about doubling up being a problem are good to hear as I think it undermines the integrity of the Premiership. I think it might take the death of the national league and the lowering of the age limit in the Championship to do it but I like the idea. Maybe to set the ball rolling new rules can be put in place to slowly see the change over multiple seasons (max 2 premiership riders in a champ team?).
  6. Today
  7. You could say the same about Lindgren, Lambert (and MJJ IIRC). They (especially Lindgren) got chances to prove themselves but did not take it. However they improved and here we are with all three being really good in SGP.
  8. Kvech is better than the majority of the riders in that GP Challenge tonight.IMO
  9. I should add that Kemp, IMHO, seems to be settling to the circuit and rode a couple of very shrewd races, adjusting to where the chasing rider wanted to be.
  10. Yes, good point. Ht 15 especially you could see him riding wide to allow Kemp free rein on the inside line, checking his position repeatedly. Nic's always been about speed and flow in his racing. The track could have been built for him!
  11. I had the same problem with ads especially on you tube, when i go on there now i use Brave not had an ad since.
  12. Spot on, observing the Dugard's is like watching a series of Dallas.
  13. The grahn pass was the hardest for him. The rest of the races he was just trying to slow down the riders to help the other rider pass. He was interviewed afterwards and his mechanic said he'd counted how many times he looked over his shoulder in one of the heats. On one lap alone, he looked over 5 times. Good team rider to have and you dont see that often
  14. Very reactionary from you on the back of a few bad results. I, personally, wouldn't have changed much in comets team. Cook was the biggest gamble going and it failed. NHJ is struggling in his first season but id have him back next year on his current average. Batch has been our best rider of the last few season, started this season really well, and has been poor for past few. On his average last season, less than 7, I'd have kept him. Especially as a third heat leader. You just seem to be judging everything on hindsight, and that isnt realistic
  15. The last few words of this post is the most relevant. Yes another good speedway meeting to watch, comets imo lucky to get a draw, but take away the 60/70 travelling monarchs and the crowd was very poor, no where near break even figures. More supporters need to attend on a regular bases, I know several old supporters lurk on this forum, so come down and support the comets, before it's too late. As for a potential team change, if you have no money you can't do much.
  16. They're all stuffed then if the SEC winner isn't a rider qualified for the GP's. Bewley, Holder and Lindgren pick themselves as long as Freddie wants in.
  17. I think, even if an offer was on the table to buy the stadium it will still be no
