Going to need a 14-16 point lead to take to Leicester to have a realistic chance I think. Not likely but we’ll see.

I think both legs will very close. I’m expecting a Leicester win on aggregate but hoping the witches can battle to a overall win

Just put plenty of material on the track to suit the home riders, that'll help, oh yeah but then again the Leicester manager might moan yet again like last time and get the track altered coz it didn't suit his riders🫢

Hurry touches on that again here 😆

I’d switch Dan Thompson and Nick Morris around,  think Dan and Kyle Howarth would make a better combination and putting Nick Morris with Ryan Douglas wouldn’t impact Morris’ inability to team ride as Douglas generally is a get out front and put head down sort of rider

Was the last meeting of the two when Leicester came good in the later stages - Witches were not helped by no King and Lawson so expect a home win this time - looking forward to it as I will be there!

I'm hopeful of a 10-12 point Witches win

Around that would at least make it interesting

Leicester strong favourites overall

Game on!

Prepare it as we want and tell them to go do one if they don't like it! 🙂

Indeed, trouble is your riders didn't really like it either.

Track will be like every other in the Country right now, dry and dusty, has those that prepare track forgotten how to handle hot summers, most have been doing it for more years than they care to recall, or is it the riders insisting they want it like a dustbowl and if its the latter, boy are they going to be in for a shock once the weather eventually turns in a couple of months.

Need to speak with Northampton they had cracked it last week after the heat 2 re-grade

That’s simply because the track man was forced by the referee to tyre pack the track after Dickson’s complaints, despite the track man telling him it would only make things worse. Which it did!

The track was prepared exactly the same as the previous two meetings as Hurry pointed out. Dickson didn’t think it would suit his team so kicked up a fuss and complained to the referee. The ref was weak unfortunately.

Taps is correct, we should prepare it exactly how we like which gives us home advantage and stuff anyone from the away team that doesn’t like it. The “dangerous” stuff was utter nonsense.

with cloud cover, tepid summer temperatures and a light breeze there should be no excuse for a poor track tonight

One man's poor is another man's fabulous.

That's extremely true,, you can have 15 races no genuine passes and the comments on the socials after the meeting will be how brilliant the meeting and racing was
