3 pointsThat's what happens when you leave a top notch track like sunny Armadale and spend too long at a second rate ploughed field like Beirut. Would be interesting to see him on a speedway bike, although it's most likely he would end the evening pointless.

3 pointsBrennan superb , I would agree Kemp has stalled if not gone backwards. Flint is progressing nicely in the Championship, come on a lot this year.

3 points3 ways to beat Poole 1;add dirt and flood track 2;Pray Havvy is the team manager 3;Pray Havvy is the team manager again

3 pointsIt's one of the best in the country, would be a bit silly to judge it on a wet night don't you think.
-
2 pointsIt was not an additional attraction because they did absolutely nothing to make it attractive!

2 pointsSheffield and Ipswich not riding so Batchelor given his scores at Monmore this season has to be worth a shot especially given his form at Kent

2 pointsWell done to the Scorpions tonight. They We're clearly fired up for this meeting after losing at home to Leicester Lions a week ago and throwing away a lead at Kent on Tuesdsy. The rain clearly affected Poole and I was disappointed in the performance. Scunthorpe were quicker out of the starts and had more speed and importantly didn't let the conditions put them off. I have been lucky to have seen some cracking meetings at the Eddie Wright Raceway over the years unfortunately the late rain ruined that. You beat us fair and square but just a note of warning to some Scorpians fans. Don't think for one moment that Poole will ride as badly as this come the playoffs and next time if we do meet we won't make it easy for you. Anyway congratulations and good luck In the playoffs.

2 pointsRiss really has gone backwards when it looked like he would go on to be a superb rider. Shame.

2 pointsI never said Kasper Andersen was a bad choice just busk Jacob was a safer option, thankfully Kasper turn out to be good. One of the worst meetings I've seen at the EWR in terms of racing but what can you do when you get a down pour before the start of the meeting. I hope you can return in better weather to see what fine racing it can produce.

2 pointsCammi Browns position will be in danger with these legitimate well thought out permutations.

2 pointsOh dear, a lot of fair weather whingers on here. Weather in Scunthorpe was dry all day and 24c. Light spits and spots at around 6.30pm, track was looking good. Start was delayed due to lots of people sitting in their cars pondering to go or not into the stadium and heavy rain to the West- where the travelling fans were coming from. The track was heavy for first 4 heats and was drying out fast after that. It started raining again at heat 13, when match result was in no doubt. Heavy rain during and after heat 14, so match wound up. Basically one team wanted to race and other beaten before a wheel was turned. TJ was immaculate blasting around the track, Lambo great at reserve, a good guest In Kasper, and the rest all chipped in just where needed. Scunthorpe's ex captain Worrall and ex Scorpion Douglas kept us lively and the rest were pretty average. Your manager made a pratt of himself too!

2 pointsSuperb meeting tonight, Plymouth's fast starting lower order meant Glasgow had to overhaul them which made it great to watch heat after heat. Ruml worked out how to ride the fast line in ht14 and was gradually reeling in Nowak who had a superb debut, much more to come from him. The only down side was the referee letting the 2 minutes run out and riders still fannying about at the tapes a minute later. Its nonsense like that that ruins the sport and puts people off. Its 2 minutes for a reason.

2 pointspeople people people all sensible rules but your all missing the most important decision to be made this year so will the green helmet colour return lets face it its the only thing broken in uk speedway
-
2 pointsI think next season Plymouth will be stronger and alot less expensive, onwards and upwards

1 pointIan Rankin on Twitter: "Who doesn’t love the glamour of speedway? Edinburgh Monarchs about to take on the might of Birmingham!! https://t.co/4L2iCN0q1M" / Twitter Where I saw it and also in the comments, Richard Osman is 'always up for speedway' ! Who knew lol.

1 pointI stood and listened to his interview at the end of the meeting. He mentioned that whilst not wanting to make excuses he had had problems with his clutch plates all night with them burning out in his last ride resulting in him touching the tapes. He basically praised what has gone on at Glasgow in recent years in respect of the stadium and track and also publicly thanked Craig Cook who is going to lend him clutch plates for tomorrow at Berwick. Really enjoyed the meeting, as others have said some good hard fast racing and it looks so much better under lights. I hope that any future Sunday meetings are held at 6pm rather than 3pm.

1 pointEnjoyable meeting tonight , the Pole looks the part and can only get better. Connor was superb tonight and looked really fast just a pity Sam had a rare off night but can’t be critical as he has been immense at home all season.

1 pointWhats the need for change - its been a highly succesful season, the p.offs got record crowds , and after the challenges of operating with limited crowds due to COVID restrictions, every club has enjoyed a wonderful season. ...... In the fantastic Championship League ......sadly Eastbourne closed, Birmingham suffered financial problems, Newcastle are looking for new owners, Poole are in discussions over the continued use of their stadium, but other than that it has been a wonderful season with entertainment from the top drawer. The stand out "Premiership" tier has once again delivered first class entertainment, and goes from strength to strength, with the BSPL once again struggling to decide who to admit to this "elite" division of racing. This season we had 6 clubs fighting tooth and nail for the coveted 4 play off spots. The qualifiers for the 4 spots were in doubt until early May and this made for some top quality racing of the highest standard that England can offer. Of particular note in 2021 has been the huge success of the rising star programme which has developed so many new potential world champions for English speedway. None of the rising stars were known in the sport at the beginning of the season, and all are truly the product of the rising star programme. Next season will see twice as many rising stars in teams , and England will once again have top calibre riders to challenge the worlds top Speedway Grand Prix stars.

1 pointWell my contacts are telling me this.. It will be one league next season with a fluid rider system for all tracks, an example below Eastbourne will return so Tom Brennan will revert to Eastbourne on his CMA This is not fair on Glasgow so Tom can take his place in their line up too Tom can also ride for Belle Vue as a rising star as they had first dibs When Glasgow face Belle Vue, then Glasgow must use a guest for Tom up to his CMA as he is a rising star and that takes priority for Belle Vue When Glasgow face Eastbourne, then the home team has the use of Tom with R/R used by the away team in the interest of the sport And so forth.. Very simple and well thought out.

1 pointThere is no better speedway referee than Sir Jim. A more honest man you could not wish to meet
