Rather ironic really that when one big league is discussed and the loss of the star rider is lamented by some it is defended by others stating "you still get great races with the likes of Simon Lambert" "great team man" "we could do with more like Simon Lambert" "we need to develop and look after our own" yet even the team that is signing the one we have don't seem greatly enthusiastic about it!! Surely every team should be fighting over him....... -

It’s hard to go to the riders and say we need to cut your income, inflation impacts them as well, we’re going to be a lot smarter as promoters😂I haven’t gone to the riders and said this is how it’s going to be because we have lost a media contract, a rider still needs to earn a living. The words at the very top table of speedways think tank. Translated means it’s ok riders the paying public will foot the shortfall. Absolutely clueless from mike melon -
He rode for the Steelers. Also looking at the BSPL statement on this issue, it states they may apply for the 8% average reduction.
