He's got a great attitude. He's also got a dedicated family behind him, putting the miles in home and particularly abroad. As you say, he's under the radar a little, but he's got a great future in the sport.

I'm not pointing the fiinger. i'm sure Vinnie will feel he let the team and himself down and won't be feeling great about it. Most riders have two bikes, ideally one should be as competitive as the other and ready to jump on in the event of a problem. Yes it looked like another inexperienced bike manoeuever which proved costly for Niklas and the team,  it was a nasty crash but he was only in heat 1 as a substitute for Vinnie who wasn't ready. The lads done great to take it to a last heat decider and could have actually won the meeting but for another match winning  performance from Jody Scott,  who I can't believe is still on a 4 point average. 

How can Kennett win a meeting we drew!! He got paid 14 not 15. Yes it is about averages, always been the fairest way but it does mean you can use horses for courses guests or someone who is in better form than the rider he replaces. Anyway hope we stuff the Comets and take all the points back to Poole.

With the focus that Cairns and Rushen have had, he is somewhat "under the radar".. Which sometimes is no bad thing... Very good, and steady, incremental progress over the past few years... A bright future for him I would suggest..

Hes an excellent young rider. Jody Scott is in the same boat, theyve both been overshadowed a bit by the understandable fanfare over Cairns & Rushen but we have a fantastic small crop of U19s/U21s at the moment.
