Think they're hoping a chunk of Oxford fans will turn up to see Premiership Speedway. It's so risky though and I'm surprised it's even being considerd tbh.

Still the only logical reason as to why Fricke wouldn't be at Leicester imo. Stewart Dickson wants to challenge for silverware and despite how good Fricke is, It's simply impossible to build a competitive team around his GSA using a 36.00 Limit for 6 Riders. Even an engine room of Howarth, N. Morris and D. Thompson is pushing 17.00 Points.

I think Belle Vue have to look at the bigger picture instead of the usual......We want Kurtz and Bewley. It may very well be a weakend League next season but don't forget that Belle Vue weren't seriously challenging for anything this season with Kurtz and Bewley being backed up by Lidsey and Z. Cook. To fit Kurtz and Bewley in again within a 36.00 Limit then you'll need to get rid of the 2025 backup to them and put faith in riders who haven't improved at all. Any planning for 2026 should see a No.3 & No.4 pairing of B. Cook and Z. Cook imo, Two riders who can fligh around the NSS in the engine room and improve starting GSA's of 6.39 and 6.20.

Much better side imo, Gusts and Tungate's GSA's represent value. Belle Vue certainly need a Cook Brother in the engine room so it looks like a good team to me.

On that score just found this last couple of line interview with Bailey posted shortly after his 3rd place in the SGP3 Final last season. He said: “I’m done with the 250s now. I wanted to give them a crack this year. I’m going back to Denmark on Sunday to train on the 500s until I go home. Then I’ll do the Aussie and state championships, and hopefully I will get a visa for the UK next year.” Lets hope he does qualify. -

I think most Danish sides sign 7/8 riders for there 5 man teams. They also I believe have to field a DK Junior & senior. Bailey has a similar situation being one of 8 riders signed and in his case he will have to compete with 2 decent young Danes for maybe 1 position. One of them WON SGP3 last season (Bailey was 3rd) plus the other one was a decent rider in POLU24 Lge. He is 19 and Villards Pedersen the SGP3 winner in 250CC Class is 16 and 6 months older than Bailey.
