How can Nathan Ablitt guest for Celina at Scunthorpe when Ablitt rides for Scunthorpe lol Plus Ablitt's average is higher then the publicity stunt3 points

Lost and move on, Berwick were never going to win at Oxford, again the weakness was lack of race wins.3 points

After a 5-week break during which time we have seen, a new Prime Minister, England not bring the euro's home, Gareth Southgate resign, one of the American Secret Service forget to shout Donald Duck, we welcome the Monarchs in a battle for league and bonus points. For the Bandits Ben Barker and Joe Thompson guest for long term injury victims Rory & Bastian. For the Monarchs Leon Flint after riding for us last night at Oxford, now rides against us guesting for the sidelined Justin Sedgman. My prediction 47-43 home win.2 points

Not much to talk about on track, it was pretty turgid stuff and Stewart Dickson pretty much hinted as much after the match. Off track though, was listening to the rider interviews after the match and most of the Lions riders were being brought out for photos with a young family with a seemingly poorly young girl (by the new female promoter, sorry, I can't remember her name)... but special mention to Craig Cook who not only had his photo taken with the kids but also gave his, well deserved, rider of the night bottle of bubbly to the young family, probably making their night. Tremendous gesture and proves what a top bloke he can be2 points

Aside from Sayfutdinov, Lynn fans could easily argue their team is as strong as the rest of the Witches. So if Lynn ride well, they can win.2 points

If you're one of the better "educated" fans that you claim to be, then surely you'd know that there is absolutely NOTHING to be gained by anyone publicly slagging the club or it's riders, especially via the clubs official channels, be that on the website or in the programme. Change the record, your patter is boring2 points

As I've said before, we know why rider's leave King's Lynn. Lyon works his socks off to try and keep peace but their are 2 proper clowns at this club. At the same time, this sport can't allow tapping up and allow rider's to just leave and move elsewhere at the drop of a hat. This sport is struggling enough, that would just make it an even more so, absolute farce.2 points

Which is utterly ridiculous - he is either declared or released - it cannot be both How can it possibly be right to confirm a contract as cancelled but then have any control over a new contract being agreed without any financial consideration provided to retain that condition2 points

Might be correct as per scb regulations but try testing that legally more holes than Swiss cheese!2 points

That would be when Sheffield used guests from within the British league ? Unlike the previous year when Belle Vue brought a rider in from Poland for the play offs.2 points

Whys everyone getting there nickers in a twist over Glasgow not streaming? First year back for us in this league and even I knew why Glasgow didn’t stream. What an entitled bunch.2 points

The clubs really don’t help themselves do they. It costs nothing to promote your own fixtures and they obviously can’t be bothered. Hence why so many former customers don’t bother either.2 points

Still a few that don't like a good bit of good old banter then.Sadly dying out now for fear of upsetting someone.Take a little bit of banter on the chin and get on with life.Christ we have to put up with the old webbed feet,6 fingers etc,all just a bit of fun.2 points

I don't think that's the case. I think they have decided they want the stadium as full as possible, and as good businessmen, they will know very well how much money was in the streaming. They have very clearly decided it wasn't worth it.2 points

It's no happening. Hire Brunel to build yourself a bridge and get over it and stop your greeting every time you come to Glasgow2 points

Boughen will get as many points as Tobias would have. IMO1 point

I offered him a pint after the meeting, but he said Buster had it covered1 point

Some good racing tonight with Rew making the difference, only thing that spoilt the night apart from losing was Buster doing about 16 laps in his damn tractor, totally unnecessary.1 point

Celina is riding tomorrow, not sure where that came from! In other news, 10+1 for Cookie at Leicester tonight. Hopefully he’ll be in for a good weekend too1 point

I’ve driven up from north London for tonight’s meeting, en route not one panel / poster / banner advertising the speedway. I checked into my hotel which is 5 minutes from the track , mentioned where I was going to the receptionist … not a flicker of recognition. They make it hard on themselves huh ?1 point

in the first running when Luke crashed there was no assistance from Sam who just squeezed him up a bit at he was on the inside. As the track was quite heavy going in to the corner the bike surged forward rather than slid causing him to come down. Thats how he described it last night and video shows it1 point

Right, ridiculous or illogical - it just highlights how badly worded some of the regulations/rules are. How can you declare a rider in your team who is not contracted to ride for you? That’s the same as the mighty ITFC declaring Ronaldo in their squad and hoping that he might be kind enough to turn up for the odd match.1 point

Of course it's right. It's also been the rule for decades. It's only now an agitation because it effects your clubs plans. Secondly, it was Musielak's choice to walk away, why should King's Lynn make it easy for him & Ipswich / Sheffield.1 point

He scored 8+1 last season for us in your narrow win over us in the normal league fixture but that was as a no2.1 point

It would appear not to be the case now . We were told that at the track last week , but now Anders Rowe has been named1 point

pure speculation . no idea where another rider could come from . but seeing we dont have any concrete clues , guess work it is .one thing for certain. i would NOT like to see r worrall or j garrity roll up @ northside . we will just have to keep trowing names up on here and see who gets closer to a rider who coulld fill Tates boots . flipping hard .1 point

I suppose that in the Holder/Lampart case, the referee did not exclude anyone, as noone fell off. If Lampart had fallen, then it would certainly have been Holder's fault.1 point

That's the best news Lynn have had in recent months, for a 2nd string/reserve to be fit to race at No1 for us1 point

Speedway really is a closed circle. promotions could unleash a wealth of dynamic people if they just opened up and asked for some help and I’m sure some people would offer to help and use their skills from different sectors (marketing, sales, operational personnel) maybe even for nothing for a small amount of their time due to the care of the sport etc, but it seems to me unless your willing to part with your cash to prop up the team with the promotion then forget it. Most clubs don’t seem to want to open up and keep it as it is because “that’s how we’ve always done it”1 point
-
Absolutely no need for any of that... You only have to see the joy on the faces of the managers and promoters during the TV meetings to see how seriously they take it to know all is well, and that they must be delighted at the way they run the sport, and the direction of travel that they have the sport heading in.... They certainly don't need any outside help from "professionals" in expert fields given they run things so well... More of the same next season please..... And the season after.... And the season after that.. And the etc etc etc (If it still is going)...1 point

Yes 012.1.14 Foul, Unfair or Dangerous riding1 point
-
Not sure if it’s a rule or it’s at discretion of referee but how do you define dangerous? Intent or just out of control? I can think of a couple who fit in to the later category but I can’t think of any who fit the first, the whole sport is fairly dangerous by it’s nature but I believe is very safe now compared to how it was, I think every rider has respect in some way for every other rider and wouldn’t set out to hurt another rider despite harder riding by some than others1 point
