The three things that are the most important were spot on. Track , quality of racing and the pace of the meeting the track was very smooth and slick which is perfect for riders starting out in their careers. the racing was competitive and close in the main. yes several teething problems but nothing that can’t be easily sorted lovely to enjoy Saturday night speedway again and the racing looks so much better under lights.3 points

Kvech's had his chance and so has Kai, so no arguments there, but I'd rather have Doyle at the moment as adds spice. Each to their own I suppose. One thing for sure is that the 3 wildcards won't be universally welcomed no matter who they are. 😂2 points

Let's go Torun, Would love to see Lublin lose the title.2 points

Magic (from Oxford), is riding for Sheffield in the semi final of the flagship competition over here .. Tells you everything about the status of winning the competition.. Wroclaw got battered by Lublin a few years ago when injuries decimated them... That's sport...2 points

100%, British Fans barely watch the British league so it's fair to say that they wouldn't watch the Polish league. It's only us die hard fans on this forum (Outside of Poland) that follow the Polish leagues on a weekly basis tbh.2 points
-
TBH it's a shame this Grand Final wasn't on TV over here. Stadium full and riders riding hard is a great spectacle, but getting people to watch it is the issue.2 points
-
Play offs only attract bigger crowds because of the play off system, which means the league doesn’t really matter. Scrap the play offs and all of a sudden crowds come for the league matches because it’s the way you win the league.2 points

The biggest confidence boost I had from sheffield was the fact that our 1 & 5 beat there 1 & 5 at Sheffield! Which to me means Leicester already have two potential heat advantages lined up for heats 13 and 15. Sheffield of course can still go to Leicester and win but to be honest it's a big ask with Fricke, Masters and Douglas all riding Leicester brilliantly this year and Becker surely can't have a worse night than he did last meeting..2 points

Do like the Heat Format in Poland, plenty of scope for tacticals and changes for Team Managers to negotiate.Very limited in Gb with our format.1 point

Incredible in every way. Puts this country completely in the shade.1 point

Really enjoyed that. Fantastic effort from Torun.1 point

That was a fantastic watch. Fancied Torun before a wheel was turned but I wasn't expecting that lead, Surely Torun will finish the job in the 2nd leg.1 point

Dudek superb. Take a bow. Great heat 15. Box office. 👏1 point

Looking like 18ish lead going into the 2nd leg which is massive. Torun big favs.1 point

The next junior is 22nd, Przyjemski often beats top riders in Ekstraliga too so I think you are doing him a disservice with that comment,1 point
-
Make it worth watching, like the Polish do, and maybe similar full stadiums would exist over here?1 point
-
Przyjemski's average is false as has all the junior races. Too soon for him. Becker would be a nonsence!!!! Get Drabik in if anyone from the Ekstraliga with no GP experience. Cerniak is not good enough and found it tough since put into the main team.1 point

Unless fans stop attending play off meetings, then they will stay. Don't think a Glasgow fan has anything against Glasgow!! Think they were just giving a rough guideline on how it could be, rather than exact?1 point

Great atmosphere in there.1 point

As a Speedway fan that league set up has just lost one supporter. How much would you charge to watch that? It’s currently £10 to watch NDL for 7 riders, personally couldn’t justify anything more to watch that set up. Just my opinion 🤷♂️1 point

Becker as a pick is utterly terrible, obviously it’s financially beneficial in some way having him in.1 point

I'm struggling with this restructure, Mayfield have been involved for a couple of years now and frankly have been out of their depth. Just how or what will improve I don't know but this could just be a slight of hand transfer of risk to move liabilities and create an opportunity to jump start the "positive" side of the GPs and give them breathing space. WBD had a torrid start with Covid which in my opinion killed their plans and enthusiasm for their overall global strategy, even their broadcasting platforms are still work in progress.1 point

Here's a quick and rather rough attempt to look at team strengths of teams should the Big League actually happen. It would need some fine tuning but it gives a flavour of what it would be like... And it only has 5 men teams Underlying assumptions - teams retain their racenights so riders who dont ride in the Championship wont be available to ride in the Big League - Premiership teams get to keep Rising Star and one doubling up rider 2026 Team Rider Ave Belle Vue Hodder 2.70 Belle Vue Wright 9.11 Belle Vue Mulford 4.37 Belle Vue Zischke 5.76 Belle Vue Vuolaas 6.87 Belle Vue Total 28.81 Berwick Morris 6.86 Berwick Kemp 8.05 Berwick Jeppesen 8.29 Berwick J Smith 2.68 Berwick Wood 2.24 Berwick Total 28.12 Edinburgh Palovaara 7.35 Edinburgh Sedgmen 7.34 Edinburgh Castagna 7.05 Edinburgh Grahn 5.30 Edinburgh Loftus 2.00 Edinburgh Total 29.04 Glasgow Hume 5.10 Glasgow Harris 9.13 Glasgow Nagel 7.39 Glasgow Perry 2.35 Glasgow Foord 3.78 Glasgow Total 27.75 Ipswich K Thomsen 5.93 Ipswich D Thompson 8.72 Ipswich Starke 4.13 Ipswich Edwards 6.60 Ipswich Spencer 2.00 Ipswich Total 27.38 Kings Lynn Heeps 4.93 Kings Lynn Lawson 9.83 Kings Lynn Lambert 4.65 Kings Lynn Harrison 5.10 Kings Lynn Borke 4.57 Kings Lynn Total 29.08 Leicester Hagon 3.57 Leicester Masters 10.09 Leicester Gusts 5.49 Leicester Allen 6.53 Leicester Cluff 3.00 Leicester Total 28.68 Oxford Kildemand 8.08 Oxford McDiarmid 5.18 Oxford Killeen 5.28 Oxford Nicholls 8.08 Oxford Ritchings 2.50 Oxford Total 29.12 Plymouth Klindt 8.36 Plymouth Barker 6.32 Plymouth J T hompson 6.02 Plymouth Frederikssen 5.49 Plymouth Trigger 3.60 Plymouth Total 29.79 Poole Jenkins 6.16 Poole Kerr 6.94 Poole Z Cook 7.34 Poole T Thomsen 4.81 Poole Cairns 3.91 Poole Total 29.16 Redcar King 8.81 Redcar Riss 7.12 Redcar Scott 3.92 Redcar Pijper 4.17 Redcar Knudsen 4.93 Redcar Total 28.95 Scunthorpe MPT 6.12 Scunthorpe Worrall 7.07 Scunthorpe Mountain 6.11 Scunthorpe D Kennedy 4.63 Scunthorpe Z Kennedy 5.24 Scunthorpe Total 29.17 Sheffield Howarth 8.12 Sheffield Flint 7.12 Sheffield Gilks 4.71 Sheffield Rowe 7.57 Sheffield Butcher 2.00 Sheffield Total 29.52 Workington Bowtell 4.77 Workington Batchelor 7.10 Workington Bowes 5.63 Workington Etheridge 5.45 Workington Hook 5.57 Workington Total 28.52 While Championship teams have been watered down, I Cant see Premiership supporters being pleased with their teams shorn of stars. How much would supporters be expected to pay to watch these meetings £10,£15 - how much would you pay? How much would riders get paid per point? Half of the 2025 rate? Sorry but this would kill speedway by the end of the first season.1 point

Next season will be 2 leagues & not many changes …kick the can down the road. Hopefully finally address the gaps teams have in home fixtures particularly in the “summer months”1 point

It was won by the Seychelles-German rider Mario Häusl, ahead of Poland's Maksymilian Pawelczak, and Belle Vue's German rider Norick Blödorn.1 point

Wouldn't bother giving Doyle another PWC, all he is likely to do is injure himself or another rider... Fricke is worth another PWC. If no Laguta & Sayfutdinov... I think I'd give Parnitskyi & Cierniak a go, they'll finish 14th & 15th but so would Kvech & Huckenbeck. Woffinden got a pick in 2011 and struggled badly was frankly uncompetitive... dropped out in 2012 but qualified for and won 2013. Who's to say Parnitskyi couldn't do the same.1 point

I generally dislike Jack Holder, he's not at all interesting to watch as a rider & comes across dumb in interviews... but every rider touches the tapes once a season & most celebrate winning a heat in someway.. the video is bit pathetic.1 point

Kevin Juhl Pedersen was AWESOME considering the conditions ! He had never seen the track before and led the way in all his races. What a rider he is going to make....I hope we sign him next season ! Seemed very friendly to the few fans that were spectating too...giving them a friendly wave whenever he could.1 point

Sheffield have got Janowski in for Morris.1 point
-
You could have just about made a case for him being in the 2025 series based on his 2024 form but he's spent most of 2025 on the injured list, not for the first time it'd be baffling if he got a pick.1 point
-
The three wildcards will be Luke Becker, Mikkel Michelsen and Max Fricke…so the whispers say. 😜1 point

Heat 1 Bomber misses the gate and can make no impression on the three riders ahead of him . Later on his usual self . Dont remember many passes after bend 2 in lap 1 until the latter heats . Thought Flint was riding inches from the fence in heat 14 to get any drive . Whatever the reasons for bringing Meredith in , we can all see the track was better before his arrival1 point
-
I thought Jack Holder was excellent for Tigers, he didn't get the points for his efforts and left it all out on the track, not bad for a GP rider with an Ekstraliga final coming up to put that kind of effort in for a tin pot league championship. I've said before, I quite like his cocky arrogance when he's won a race, it gets a reaction from people.1 point

Harris is a great rider and servant to British speedway. I was there with 40,000 other when Bomber won the 2007 Cardiff GP. What a ride! He has been great and rarely injured. He was talking about retiring several years ago. Glad he didn’t. Needs a huge testimonial meeting when he does hang up his Kevlars.1 point

From a business point of view I agree with this statement. If I was a promoter I would opt out of the BSN streaming, in the last few weeks there has been four sometimes five presenters/comentators at a meeting. I'm sure they are not doing it for there health. Discovery have a team of four and maybe five times the budget, so two would be a enough. From a fans point it is good value but having less presenters would mean money going to the clubs, which is what is needed. Smacks of jobs for the boys taking money out of the sport, a bit like this Speedway Futures Ltd will do.1 point
