I think Dan knew riding at Foxhall as a home track would only regress his career... Like it has Jason Doyle's...3 points

And a full stadium to race in front of, wages on time, lots of meetings, trophies and a feel good factor. The track comments are valid as it leaves a fair bit to be desired but everything else is really attractive for a rider to sign for them if approached.3 points

He has a point also though. Bewley was clearly taken by what he saw at Ipswich that night and quite clearly hasn’t witnessed anything remotely close at the NSS!2 points

Some good news announced today that GT tyres are on board as main sponsors for 2 more years. Thank you all at GT tyres 😀2 points

If Ipswich isn't sold Louis should run it, if not he's simply the guy who shut Ipswich Speedway.1 point

Guess we find out after Jan 6th. Press release just said "at least 5 teams" but also seemed hopeful that Ipswich would join. My guess would be a team at Northampton raceway.1 point

AGM is 6 January. Hopefully Ipswich will be sorted and become the 6th team1 point

True, or a merger of some kind? Whatever, just a mess and over several several years!1 point

He had the chance before and blew it. Including when he stole other riders possessions from changing rooms. Leopards don’t normally change their spots and he will prove this once again. Anyone who takes him on has got to be desperate.1 point

Let's hope he gets the chance to race somewhere & earn a living. Hopefully he can turn his life around & make a contribution to society as opposed to falling back into crime & drug abuse & continuing to be a burden on the tax payer.1 point

Tbf when Dan signed up to race the Arenacross series this year I thought he was using it as practice for Foxhall!1 point

hahaha ....... a bit like Gary Havelock then who won the WC after the track was waterlogged halfway through the meeting .... or Egon Muller who won on a specially prepared track ...... or Jerzy Szakiel wwho won a specially prepared Polish track ..... Come on - they are all World Champions , they won the championship to the rules existing at the time. Screen never made the top because he really couldn't gate. He could have reached the top...... yes I agree. He did not though. Poole Pirate Loram wasn't much better at gating , but he was consistently good enough for one season to give England a World Champion. Some other lesser riders like Hamill and Rickardsson were not as consistent on all the tracks and finished 2nd and 3rd.1 point

well he admitted it at the time according to this news story https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=9f17f7f72e5388927d01860a4b6bceed086006e2714417bc9bc0e05c378148d2JmltdHM9MTc2Njc5MzYwMA&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=4&fclid=2a644605-34db-6036-27c0-534e353b6147&psq=jason+garrity&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZGFpbHlzdGFyLmNvLnVrL3Nwb3J0L21vdG9yc3BvcnQvc3BlZWR3YXktamFzb24tZ2Fycml0eS1qYWlsZWQtcm9iYmVyeS0yMjg4MDgxMQ1 point

Very good performance by our Tate in the Phil Crump Comp finishing 4th behind Lidsey, Becker and Tungate. Some very good riding throughout and was involved in an unfortunate collision with Bowes, leading to Bowes exclusion.1 point

True! You’ll have to finish higher in the league next time if you want to celebrate at home I guess 😉 Nice of Dan to drive 5 hours to celebrate with us though 👏🏻 top guy!1 point

Since the new main stand was built at Oxford the noise seems to be forced away from the housing and along the railway line and bypass1 point

Where did this rumour of Ipswich having a GP rider next season come from? If Louis had negotiated any such deal it is now surely meaningless if he is looking to sell up? I don’t see how people can speculate on the Witches line up when it has yet to be confirmed who is taking over or even if they will run!1 point

Great start to the 2026 team building, hopefully we see a few more familiar faces back at Owlerton in the coming day and weeks, with maybe the odd new Tiger as well. Obviously we’ll need a new Rising Star for 2026, is Steelers Luke Harrison going to get the nod?1 point

I think the Ipswich supporters have had far bigger concerns this close season than worrying about a rider they may or may not particularly like lining up for us! Wayne needs to read the room here. The only thing that currently matters is confirmation that the club is still actually running.1 point

Poole take emerging youngsters like fjoord, cairn, rushen because they can see the potential, they have already developed from youth leagues and amateurs...bit like Scunny had with Harrison...Poole sign them and shout out to the world"Look what we unearthed" they may refine them and mould them into better riders but seem to want the credit of finding them1 point

Think drug and alcohol offences are different to beating up pensioners when burglarying their home 🤔🤡1 point

I honestly couldn't give a sh#t who signs for us. I simply cannot take anything seriously anymore with the premiership.1 point

So.... Full Steam ahead for the Premiership in trying to revive that dead horse for 2026.... So it can be flogged to death again in time for 2027... Basically.... Just keep on doing exactly the same thing, and each time you do it, expecting a completely different result... Truly Genius... Should be a roaring success... Just like it is currently...1 point

Sounds like you're asking somebody to make some numbers up to challenge the numbers you've made up, is that right? As the numbers are not in the public domain you may be waiting for a while.1 point

Where are you getting your figures from? Appreciate your post and explanation don’t get me wrong, but unless the figures are facts then it’s just conjecture. I think the ultimate issue is that the sport can’t justify being professional/full time here. Riders need to get on board with that. Either ride where you can for what you’re offered, make it work, go part-time or get a proper job. All of us fans have to cut our cloth accordingly in life. But the promoters and riders seemingly don’t have to do that.1 point

I cant comment on this. Seen it live but they didnt show a replay. Just looked like an unfortunate racing collision. Tate was going on the outside of him and they unfortunately got tangled up0 points
