Don’t really understand this dislike of Klindt, the guy has been the bears top man this season , he has missed two matches, one for a knee injury and another due to a commitment he had already committed to before signing for the bears , some of these supporters are like boro fc supporters , fickle as idiot.5 points

It’s more like a post season thread these days. Who won the play offs? Has the AGM taken place? Sad really when but a few years back it was a hotbed of banter between rival supporters and regular weekly speedway. Now it has very little to offer even the diehard supporters and you cannot hold out any hope of change for the better going forward given the way the sport is run and the speedway tail being the riders attitude who are the wagging in the dog and the sport as a whole with the punters who follow it largely treated with contempt. I feel for the next generation of riders who see the options for them diminishing at a rapid rate. It needs wholesale changes but it will not happen. For the time being we have Poland to relive what used to be the sport in the UK.4 points

From the video on socials Cairns went for the gap "Polish" style on the inside and touched Pijper's wheel so was rightly excluded but both looked untidy going into the corner. Referee made the correct decision and agree with awarding the race also.4 points

In my view no point trying to get speedway in a big stadium unless you can fill it, towards the end of my time going to Cardiff the crowd levels were dropping and whilst the Atmosphere was still good playing out in a half empty stadium doesn't seem right to me! I've watched Athletics at the LS and can confirm its excellent for that! Never been for football.3 points

I am an exiled fan with no club to support and haven’t been to a live meeting since Lakeside closed in 2018 but I have used BSN in the past and indeed this season, any funds the clubs get from the likes of me is bonus because I am never going to go to a meeting in person unless the Hammers come back at some point.3 points

The club wins as it receives money that it wouldn’t get. Most of the people buying a stream have no intention of being there. The outlets and fundraisers don’t lose as the people wouldn’t have been there in the first place. Streaming has been a lifeline for clubs.3 points

i know there hasn't been a premiership meeting for a couple of weeks, so nothing to talk about on this page really. our other excuse could be we are all over 60 anyway, so we just can make up stuff as we go along. 😁2 points

Do you miss the great occasion that was the SGB Premiership Speedway League Thread?😁2 points

Quite a few heavy showers around the Poole area today, and more forecasted for tomorrow, hopefully the track can stand up to it2 points

Harry is not serious about his love for the sport... he'll say anything for a brown envelope full of readies. NOTICE: People stop calling for 'Arry to do stuff, it's quite clear it was a one off publicity stunt to try and keep TNT Sport on board, you may as well ask Linda Lusardi to step in and have a word... if you're having a joke, of course fill your boots 👍2 points

Will was sitting in last place and knew that Cooper was away and gone with no chance of catching him. A place on the rostrum was better than 4th and so he had to go for the gap that Pijper had left. If he got through he got third. If he failed it would have been the same as where he was before he went for it. Logic says go for it. He nearly pulled it off but not quite. He did catch Pijper wheel so was rightly excluded but it almost came off. The reaction from Pijper though was ridiculous, and frankly, totally expected knowing his personality. He nearly always likes to throw a hissy fit in a meeting. First tantrum when it looked like his mechanic didn’t put fuel in his bike, then a second when he was taken out. He will soon discover someone bigger and tougher will knock him spark out if he comes charging up to the wrong person who won’t take that behaviour. His pit crew were just as bad.2 points

Update on former Berwick rider Connor Coles posted on social media. After 6½ weeks in hospital and rehabilitation, Connor is finally home. To say we’re grateful is an understatement. There were times when we didn’t know what the future would look like, so having him back home with us and the girls is the best feeling in the world. The progress he has made has been incredible. Just over two weeks ago he was largely bedbound, struggling to talk and eating puréed food. Today he’s walking, talking (all be it still very quietly) eating normal meals and continuing his recovery at home with his family. He still has a long road ahead, with ongoing appointments, exercises and rehabilitation, but today is a huge milestone and one we weren’t sure we’d see so soon. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, checked in on us, helped with the girls, visited Connor, donated, fundraised and kept us going through the hardest weeks of our lives. Every message, phone call and act of kindness has meant more than you’ll ever know. We also want to thank every single member of staff involved in Connor’s care and rehabilitation. Your support, encouragement, expertise and belief in him have helped get him home to us, and we will be forever grateful. Recovery doesn’t stop here, but we’re simply grateful to have our family back under one roof agai2 points

Speedway in this country is certainly in a state. Now as for these ever increasing attacks on British citizens etc etc … oops sorry. Wrong thread again1 point

Can you please have something positive to contribute like the state of the economy or the latest weather forecast, this topic is not at all interested in the state of speedway in the UK. Now I will get the dominoes out to play on line😄 Bingo follows shortly.1 point

Perhaps it's a bit too late to comment, but I will do it anyway, and it is: Being Polish I could not have written this better. My congratulations to StewMac1 point

I can see them replacing him with Simon Lambert (hope not)... or they might just be boring/unimaginative and do R/R for Paco considering how Rushen/Scott are riding… and it gives Ben Cook an extra ride too1 point

Lasse has certainly not impressed but the season is so short and disjointed it’s hard too keep interested.1 point

Yep, when the meeting is as far as Redcar.1 point

Surely Harry Redknapp with his West Ham connections could have a word? Maybe also get the Hearns involved to give it the publicity it needs. Definitely worth exploring, but as an addition to the Manchester weekend rather than instead of.1 point

I think BSN do a good job trying to feature what at times is a terrible product.1 point

Here's what I think will happen because it's British Speedway after all where unprofessionalism and under-handed tactics eventually plays a role. 1. Belle Vue will use Guests until Matej Zagar has made a full recovery. 2. Once Matej Zagar is fit we will get a statement from Northampton about how delighted they are to bring Matej Zagar back into their septet only it won't be in place of Jonas Jeppesen, It'll be in place of Jaimon Lidsey because Northampton have been so impressed with Jonas since he joined the Club. 3. Belle Vue then sign Jaimon Lidsey and go on to win the League.1 point

As far as I’m aware , they have already held motorsport events at the stadium. And West Ham could certainly use the extra revenue now that they’re down with the stiffs 😁1 point
