Edinburgh v Birminham (Championship) 27th May

Was the Shanes situation about not wanting to breathe in somebody else's respiration from their helmet ie a covid thing? -

Do Brum have a number 8? -
I think its fair to expect more for Brennan after recent performances but hes a young lad and the bulk of the blame has to be pointed at the three heat leaders, eighteen points from them when the others managed that collectively is pretty poor.

Ipswich v Wolves 26th May
Bagpuss replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Plenty of riders master tracks once they sign for them though, Lawson for example was never any good at Lynn. I assume with Poland, Sweden, SEC, SoN and GP qualifying he feels he has enough going on. Would be dynamite for BV. -

Bellego is class, odd how it didn't work out. -
Fantastic ride.

Too many, the gap between top and bottom is too big. Needs sorting for 2023.
-
If, if, if, if, if.

Agreed but he had a knee injury so didn't appear for Redcar Friday or Sunday, still injured for the Pairs on Mobday so we are told yet pops up in Poland last night. A bit fishy for me.
-
Brennan winning heat 13 from the back, good lad. Reckon he could be the real deal.
-
Pearson scored seven in Poland last night, something doesn't add up.

They seem to have just copied the SoN with the reserve idea and it's unnecessary IMO. I despise guests but in the case of Palin I suspect he got permission to miss Monday and to be honest it's common sense for him to stay out there rather than come back for one heat. The Jenkins one is a bit more fishy but at the end of the day we want our youngsters racing in Europe as much as possible so I wouldn't want to see it discouraged.

I was going to post something very similar but you've put it better than I ever could so I'm just going to quote you instead.
-
If you just don't like it then fair enough, I was just interested why you thought they'd got the 'whole thing wrong' and it needed 'scrapping'. The reserve thing isn't good (I don't like it in the SoN either and they've just copied and pasted it from that) but the concept of a round on every track and a choice of two of the top four is good IMO. Let's see what the rest of the competition brings, looking forward to attending the Lynn round and streaming the BV one.
-
You've been very negative about the concept over the last couple of days.....please elaborate if you could about what they've got wrong and how it could be improved.
-
I thought riders are constantly turning left at P'boro, it's essentially a circle Difficult to comment without having seen it but very few gripes about it on here.

Same for the grand final last year.

Now you've jinxed it

Up the Stars! Well done boys.
