topaz325 Posted yesterday at 10:52 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:52 AM Another tough meeting this Saturday afternoon for the Comets against a Bears side boasting a strong top four of Wright, Riss, King and Edwards. The Comets will need to be on top form to beat the Redcar side who are one of the favorites this season to make the top four play offs. The weather is still looking good for this weekend so hopefully some Redcar fans will make the journey over from the East to watch this meeting. Neila
Unfortunately with the very good weather, it's harder for track preparation, needs a lot of water to produce the grip and keep the dust down, last Saturday imo very little grip and a little bit of dust, at Redcar the nite before no dust, but no grip at all, can see this weekend being the same.. come on comets we can do this UTC
Neila
Just seen on social media that comets TV is to be launched at this meeting. Is this a good thing or a bad thing ?? IMO it may stop families/ groups coming to pay £x at Northside but can pay say £14 and several people will sit at home watching the stream, therefore the club loses a lot of admission money. Any more thoughts on this

Any more thoughts on this They can just stop doing it if it affects the gate too much. Good on them for testing it and see how it does. Any more thoughts on this Well as an away supporter who wasn’t going to make the trip, the club will be getting revenue from me if I buy the stream. Lots of tracks are doing it these days so I assume it’s a benefit to the clubs rather than having a negative impact.
