Poole 2026

Recommended Posts

Good to see a new young rider over in the UK hopefully if the lad is 50% as good as the Moran Brothers, King & Cookie he will have a bright future ahead of him, would love to see a few more promising young American riders come over to the UK but they are thin on the ground sadly.

The boy will have a good support network around him no doubt and hopefully will be given a few meetings to settle into UK speedway.

It's a shame Dillon Ruml never came back as he was another shaping up to be a useful rider but he stuffed himself by finishing with a 5.50 ish average and I don't think has ridden since having a hand injury 18 or so months back.

If Riga finished after Berwick then surely the signing couldn't be made as Poole would have raced their 75% of fixtures.

BSPL were aware of the signing intention. It was just the paperwork getting through. Not sure if the BSPL office is staffed at the weekends?😇

Great to get him on 4.00 gsa though.

Sorry to nit-pick but:- I'm thinking his Championship GSA is 5.00, while his Premiership GSA would be 4.00 in recognition of the hughly differing standard between the two leagues.

Hmmm so if it was declared Saturday how did they have a guest for Bowes on Saturday

Because any declaration takes 72 hours to come into effect. It you want to see when any team declaration was made, look at the BSPL website at the date it comes into effect and deduct 3 days.

He is declared on the bspa site as a 4.00. On that average seems a steal for next season.

The only slight issue is (god forbid) if he gets an injury then the choice of guests has diminished considerably.

You couldn't make it up!        Edinburgh have announced that Eddie will be Poole's guest on Friday -- in place of Kyle Newman!

The little detail of not being allowed to guest if you aren't in another club's 1-7 has been circumvented by Eddie now having been smuggled into one of the NDL teams.
