It's all so typically British Speedway isn't it, companies house shows 1 shareholder, Mark Lemon, holding 1 share valued at £1... Then there's the 2 co-promoters Tony Gaul & Paul Hunsdon (previously named as a Director at Birmingham, as was David Rowe for a short period interestingly) seemingly with no limited liability... and we have people like Jan Staechmann saying things like "they're the ones we can talk about" on BSN. Why so cloak and dagger? What could possibly be worse than the CEO and team manager of another team being the sole shareholder of another club? marko Posted yesterday at 09:56 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:56 AM Firstly it’s very important no matter the level that your team wins it’s home meetings or at least enough of them to keep the crowds coming back, it doesn’t matter if the get a hiding away from home because very few fans actually travel now so unless you pay for a stream, you only see your team when they are at home. Secondly whilst the idea of a promotion being run by members of another seems odd, I know from reading the history of the sport, there used to be promoters who ran many tracks at the same time so it’s nothing new. The basics of speedway as a promoters is always, put together a team that will win most of its home matches and provide a track that will suit those riders and doesn’t leave your patrons covered in dust. I used to go to Rye House on Sundays afternoons every so often, especially when they were in a different league to Arena, I don’t remember many occasions if any where on nice warm afternoon, I would get covered in dust. Just seen the interview in the speedway star with Paul hunsdon, he mentions that the person who did the electrics is a shareholder as well, Josh Hewitt, not sure if he’s had any other roles in speedway before or just an investor ? A shareholder in what though? As I said only Mark Lemon stated with companies house. Only 1 person named Paul Hunsdon named as a current director and shareholder of a company in the UK and that has a load of charges against it. Don't know if it's the same person though. You do get a lot of firms set up with shadow directors there was the famous story of about 500 plus companies registered at the same london mail box address that all had the same director which was some poor clueless woman who was a cleaner in the Cayman Islands. Racin Jason 72
It’s imperative that the foxes start being competitive at home before they lose the crowds. Klint looks ill at ease on his new home track and Lidsey is not showing a lot of determination unless he makes the start. maybe Keynan Rew for klint as it’s a track shape he would master fairly quickly. Really need a Jason Doyle type signing
