Enjoyable meeting with plenty of talking points.

Bowes should not have been excluded for laying his bike down to avoid Kerr, Kerr should have been excluded as primary cause. Kyle was excellent and I would keep him, he is Poole at heart and always gives his best for us, he should have been given heat 15 with the meeting already won. Bowes seems to have been signed on one excellent meeting last season, tonight he was awful as he was at Oxford. Lawson on the other hand was brilliant.

Bowes didn't lay his bike down which would mean he bailed out on purpose. He fell off trying to avoid Kerr who had an ef. Both should have been excluded.

Tricky one, i felt Kerr should have gone as he caused the incident. Whatever the reason he was still under power though as rode back to the pits so hard to say what caused the issue.

Simplest team change in the League is Retain Kyle Newman and drop Fraser Bowes. With Newman you know that you get 100% every race, I'm not even a Poole fan and i'm advising them on how to strengthen an already decent team.

Agree H keeping newman is the easiest and cheapest option(no airfares!) Think Kyle and Gilkes only need to average 5 or even  less, considerable strength in rest of team,we were saying last night "how many team building mistakes has matt ford made over the yrs?' not too many, sure all will be fine

Thought Bowes was staying with Matt ford who I think is UK based now, unless he employed him to be a house sitter in France, now Mr Bowes is not doing very well riding speedway 😜

He is. Or that is what was said in interviews as season was starting. Unless he has helicoptor ride to the track 😁

My gut tells me Bowes could come good, but at the moment he's trying too hard, and over riding it. He needs to relax and ride instinctively, then the results would come. Might be in need of some form of support to give him some confidence. But time maybe running out?

Also... I looked at the BSN tables and it struck me how crucial loosing the bonus point might prove to be for the Cheetahs. Surely one of the other second placed teams can score 5 points?!

I felt he did lay it down to avoid crashing into Kerr so Kerr should have been excluded.

Let’s split hairs. With the benefit of hindsight after watching the BSN coverage this morning, Kerr had an engine defect, not a failure.

kerr was the prime cause of the stoppage?  so shouldnt he go and bowes be allowed back?
