Shaleshifter
The Pirates return to action at home this coming Wednesday to take on the Oxford Cheetahs after a 3 week break from the last home meeting. The Cheetahs ran out winners by 51-39 at home to give them a 12 point advantage with Dayle Wood scoring 10+2 from reserve. The Pirates need to get off to a good start, with the Cheetahs having Sam Mastets and ex Pirate Anders Rowe in opposition it could be a tough night. Thoughts? A lot could depend on who is guesting for Riss. The other 6 individually have had good meetings at Poole. So go for a 47-43 score line. Bitza
Well it's a must win match for the Pirates, but no pressure to get the bonus. Should be a competitive meeting, can't wait.

If Bowes doesn't improve he will get the chop in my opinion.

It hasn't taken you long to get fed up with Bowes, you were told about him before you signed him 😀

Why pick on Bowes? No reason for him to be dropped. The next decision is will Middlo be back from his hols in time for Wednesday and then 'will we/won't we' over Kyle Newman. Hope he can regain his confidence in the NDL

ASpeedwayfan
I think a pirates win, but with nothing riding on the bonus point who knows who will get it. I’m sure we will see a lot better racing in this leg than the first. reserves will be vital, I don’t see the Oxford boys scoring as many here as they did at home. Other than that I think the pirates can match or beat their opposite number. Interested in particular to how Bowes and Newman get on
