Think Kyle and Gilkes only need to average 5 or even less, considerable strength in rest of team,we were saying last night "how many team building mistakes has matt ford made over the yrs?' not too many, sure all will be fine Thought Bowes was staying with Matt ford who I think is UK based now, unless he employed him to be a house sitter in France, now Mr Bowes is not doing very well riding speedway 😜

Or that is what was said in interviews as season was starting. Unless he has helicoptor ride to the track 😁 Edited April 30 by LisaColette
Bitza
My gut tells me Bowes could come good, but at the moment he's trying too hard, and over riding it. He needs to relax and ride instinctively, then the results would come. Might be in need of some form of support to give him some confidence. But time maybe running out? Also... I looked at the BSN tables and it struck me how crucial loosing the bonus point might prove to be for the Cheetahs. Surely one of the other second placed teams can score 5 points?! PersonalResponsibility
Bowes must thank his lucky stars that he's Australian, there can't be any other reason he gets so many opportunities. He's 25 this year and has barely achieved a 6pt average across his 5 seasons in U24 Ekstraliga + Championship. I don't think many Brits would get the same chances.
Neila
Might be cheaper than a Brit ? But he's not that good at the moment to stick with him, as the fords are usually ruthless when coming to team choices
SteveLyric2
Kyle certainly improved after his first 2 rides. Maybe he needs to get 'fired up' in every meeting by a bit of a fracas in the pits?! (Thank you Mr Ritchings 😇) Edited April 30 by SteveLyric2

He fell off trying to avoid Kerr who had an ef. Both should have been excluded. I felt he did lay it down to avoid crashing into Kerr so Kerr should have been excluded.
Dickie Head
Let’s split hairs. With the benefit of hindsight after watching the BSN coverage this morning, Kerr had an engine defect, not a failure.

LisaColette
It wouldn't be Poole vs Oxford with a little bit of a fight!

Anyone using their eyes could see Kerr was not under motive power at the point the race was stopped. He should have been excluded. Wouldn't have affected who won on the night, but it did change the destination of the bonus point. 1

Yes I agree not under motive power but I thought the rule was under power and Kerr's engine was still running, depends on interpretation of the rule. It may not have changed the destination of the bonus point as it was early in the meeting and tactical changes may have come in to play, like not risking putting Bowes out in heat 14.
