Odds On
Start Tarts...you know the one's, if they gate they are million dollars and win by the length of the straight, but if they come out of the second bend third or fourth they poodle around at the back looking down at their bikes! Had some good one's over the years haven't we.

Sorry said before IMO anyone who rides a s/way bike is not a tart ,just to be able to ride and control one of these machines in the confines of a track with three other riders takes huge amount of courage plus a great deal of skill . Make no mistake I think BZ( his opponents are fortunate that he's not the best of gaters) is the greatest rider to put a leg over a bike but I can still admire the the skill /ability of other riders ,as Mauger I believe said "gating " makes the job so much easier . SPEEDY69
Past: Gert Handberg & Jarek Hampel Present: Nikolai Klindt. Can think of many more of course but it all depends at what stage of their career as well.

Back in the day if you put your leg over the bike it meant you were pretty much gaurenteed to put your leg over the other meaning 😂

If Hampel is included then Hancock would be also wouldn’t he?? For me, the biggest gating slag I'd ever seen was Adam Allott around King's Lynn. Never seen anyone like it. TapesRup
The winner of the start tart for 2026 so far is the one and only irritating NICOLAI KLINDT.
TheReturn
I always thought Nigel Crabtree fell into this category whenever he raced against Long Eaton. Good rider, but if he was being beat by anyone, he would spend the race looking down at his bike.
