Shaleshifter
After a weeks break the Pirates return to action taking on the Berwick Bandits in the knockout Cup semi final. The Pirates will be without thier star no1 Richard Lawson who has a Danish league fixture as this meeting was not originally in the calendar. Chris Bomber Harris steps in for Richard. Berwick draft in another Glasgow tiger and ex bandit Leon Fint to cover for Peter Kildemand on Danish league duty. With the weather expected to be in the high 30's all day track prep will be extremely challenging. The Bandits have been on good form especially at home so this will be a tough 2 legged encounter. Thoughts? Fraser Bowes is back at 2 partnering Bomber. I hope he is fit/rested enough to turn the bike effectively. I reckon it'll be close over 2 legs, especially with Glasgow away in between . Thoughts? Challenging when it’s hot and wet. What a farce
