Given the lateness we were confirmed as starting to get in to the play offs is a result.

I still believe Mayfield & Coleman are both good for Ipswich & uk speedway looking forward to 2027.

Tonights the reason when there should be I league in GB next season,while lowering the throughout the Teams you will able to have competitive meetings between Teams of equal standard.Would pay money to watch mismatch meetings for most of the season.

As for the result no surprise whatsoever and with the Aces reserves easily outscoring the Witches reserve pairing never in question. I would imagine the Foxhall faithful will only want to see Musielak, Brennan (2nd string) + King returning next season.

We've had 1 decent meeting thus year, the rest have been appalling racing wise. Either too grippy or mega slick.  Track guy, who does whatever he wants and not what he's told, has got to go pronto.

Well done to the Aces as predicted far too strong for the witches.

It certainly was from the terraces. Really concerning and more importantly where this sport is heading. A sport with no participants surely ceases to be a sport eventually. Please correct me if I am wrong but I believe you said before that something like 90 odd British riders have been lost to the sport in the last decade? If that's the case then that far outweighs anything to do with silverware.

I believe we have had 14 meetings this season. Quite shocking when we used to have nearly 30. What I want to know is with all these defunct teams wanting to come back, where are we getting the riders from? And even if we get riders from abroad, how the hell are most clubs going to pay them on pitiful gates.

The meeting the other week against Sheffield was very good, some excellent racing with lots of passing. But most of the riders were having a whinge on both sides that the track was “tricky to ride” and they were struggling a bit with it. 
 

Tonight most of the riders were praising the track because it was smooth and easy to ride, but was serving up next to no entertainment to the supporters. 
 

Give me the track like it was against Sheffield and tell them to get on with it!

He thanked the supporters & the sponsors for sticking by them this year. After the take over they asked for people to stick by them & not judge them on 26. He thanked everyone from the bottom of his heart for doing that.

acknowledged that the performance last night wasn’t good good enough but he would avenge that next year.

Exciting plans are in place for next season however as yet he isn’t able to share & they have been working on those plans for some time.

Thats what I like about him several times this year he has publicly engaged with the supporters.

The guy is a breath of fresh air.

Personally as for next year I’d take Toby back in two minds about Tom part of me thinks he is a bargain on his average, the other parts isn’t so sure.

As for Danny again on the fence had a very good season however could be a risk on his average if the league is stronger. If the points limit stays the same again his average might go against him.

Id also personally try & get scott involved as team manager.

This is a familiar tale in speedway unfortunately. The best racing is often when riders have no idea which line is fastest or the track takes a bit of thought to ride and of course riders generally dont like that.

But again on paper it looked a decent side, genuine number 1, two of the very best young talents at 6&7 , Harris getting slightly worse every year but still good value, Kvech should have been a steal, Ben Cook okay hot and cold they should have taken a chance on a new overseas rider rather than Castanga, but its far from the worst looking team but as ever with Lynn just didn't happen.

Do you remember Einar he would either nearly kill himself or someone else most meetings he was all over the place on the bike, got a feeling Travis McGowan who was going to be another big Aussie hope might have signed for Lynn in the season I stopped going bar the odd meeting but over 35 years ago now so memory very hazy.

I seem to remember Einar needing a maximum in his last meeting to come back to the UK in the next year in the nicest possible way I was hoping he wouldn't get it , as he was terrible can't remember if those were Martin Rogers days or Busters must be Rogers.

We used to go over to Peterborough a fair bit as well and can remember a brilliant last heat decided between Ryan Sullivan and Michael Max probably best race I have ever seen, went to Odsal for two world finals again was probably 16 in 86 and again frightening that it was forty years ago.

No, only as a rare visitor to Foxhall - think he'd left before I started going to Lynn.

And their in lies the problem, one of the commentators made me laugh late on when he said one of the riders was moving out into the deep stuff to try and make a pass, what deep stuff, it was as slick as it could be, even Doyle said it was really smooth, all you had to do was make a start.

Completely agree unfortunately. A number of announcements will be made over the coming weeks and months. Plenty of work going on and change is afoot. 
 

Let’s see if things improve next year. They need to that’s for sure.
