Belle Vue v Sheffield 2x Bank Holiday

I was thinking if Ben Cook helps Sheffield gain a point, does that end Lynn's chances of catching them, but Sheffield have such a superior race points advantage don't think Lynn would finish above them anyway. -
Torun 2026

My suggestion would be to email Torun- Polish clubs are normally really good at responding. Maybe they will have a restricted number of fans present with possibly entry via purchase of a programme. biuro@speedway.torun.pl -
My tickets don't mention anything either, so it's certainly not at all clear.

I thought Glaagow helping out Workington last year was something to do with visas/work permits but could be wrong. The 1 rider over 8.00 was brought in as there were 9 teams and 9 riders above 8 (Cook was 10th on 7.99 after UK reduction). If kept, speedway has a habit of not keeping rules, would it be changed to whatever figure is between the 9th and 10th averaged riders (after UK reduction)? Genuinely can't see Bomber at Poole in 2027. The slick track doesn't suit his style and I can't see the Fords changing their track to make it suit him (as it didn't fit their successful business model). If he's not back at Glasgow then I think he'll sign somewhere where there is more dirt for him to race on, even if it's less money than Poole are offering, as I think that enjoying his racing means more to Bomber. I would expect Lawson to be number 1 at Poole again in 2027

GP venues and news for 2027

OASIS are playing down the road in Manchester on these dates, hope they donât arrange a GP at Belle Vue in June hotel prices reported being up 400% Etihad Stadium, Manchester: 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25, 26 June -
Glasgow and Edinburgh fans generally do care about our "tin pot" derby. Both promotions care, especially as it brings in larger numbers of away fans, and amongst their biggest crowds of the season. If no one else cares about the Scottish derby matches, or any other derby matches, that's absolutely fine. No one else needs to care about it/them, but it does make a difference to both Scottish clubs.

I shouldnât even waste my time responding but I yet I will! Number 8 is an official team number, I donât know why people canât get it into their heads, itâs not that hard. Number 8 has nothing to do with 5 rides either, it is for tactical awareness to use in ANY race they see fit and not the official line up of heats, I repeat again, obviously to a brick wall, but look at football and how they change tactics. More of a joke is being 6 points up and then having, letâs say, Zmarzlik, come in to help your other crap riders. Vaculik is not a âclose friendâ of Zmarzlik. Full stop. They rode for a while in Gorzow so they get along well, the definition of a close friend is not to hug them after a race. When Vaculik bowed down to Paluch to honour his riding that kept Gorzow up last season, did that mean they are close friends or he is simply happy for him in that moment? Vaculik hasnât even been to Zmarzlik house, Anders has and he has been on holiday with him too. Look at facts from their private life and not what you watch on TV.

Iain makes a grand cuppa though!

Greg has only got a mild accent, try having a conversation with the machine examiner at Edinburgh, now thatâs a hard guy to understand

Given it is an offficial fixture, the rules for missing it should apply as per all meetings... And only if rescheduled, and riders already elsewhere, should any drop outs be allowed . The BSP don't help themselves when these events always have riders missing from the original line up, and their compliance with riders dropping out just undermines both themselves and their competitions... And running them so late in the season, (after many blank weeks during the summer for many tracks), is just asking for riders dropping out given many will have play offs in their respective leagues to focus on.. And also for the majority of competitors they potentially will earn less than a normal meeting... The irony of that of course, being that the last decade or so has seen riders not take part, which then dilutes the prestige, which then reduces the fan numbers, which then reduces the money on offer.. Another vicious circle UK Speedway got itself into given its lack of clear independent, disciplined, leadership.. -
Can we take from Oxford Managers comments that perhaps next seasons points limit may already in the main have been agreed in Champ based on his latest comments on British Speedway Site today i.e: âWe have already been working on a side that we can believe can challenge on all fronts next season. Itâs no less than the supporters of our great club deserve.â If thats the case one could assume the Matt & Danny are well ahead in planning the Pirates line up for 2027. I know promoter annual meeting is only in Nov normally but a lot is near enough agreed well in advance with many riders already pre agrred or signed up. Would love to know if Bailey intends to do UK in 2027. Assuming that the Fords would be willing to help finance such a bold move maybe jointly with a Prem Team. Assuming of course that as a foreign junior (mainly riding POL U24) he falls outside the POL 2 team rule planned for 2027.

Reports on Freddie by his wife says severe concussion so I would assume he is doubtful for Torun.

Always thought this account was just deluded opinions, but now realise it has to be satire.

I've got tickets for the SGP at Torun. I can't find any info on whether separate tickets are required for qualifying and the sprint race. Has anyone got any info they could direct me to please? Thanks

I fear Ipswich's reserves will cost them here, unless they have a big up turn in form... R/R will more than likely mean Leicester have 3-4 heats with both reserves in them, I'm just not sure the Witches have enough to capitalise

Read the Berwick website for the reason he was missing. Various riders have missed meetings for personal reasons.
