NOTHING to gain by having Harris there. Look to the future. England have some excellent prospects coming through the ranks. Invest in them and, hopefully, reap the benefit later.

Lidsey for me the most improved rider this year

I bet you were sweating on Dudek

If Jeppesen does get added as the No.8 then I still think -6 is a good bet considering the track is wet and the start has been delayed. As Najjer said Walasek will probably be useless and Klindt is a fan of wet tracks either.

" Bartek has been around while and doesn’t crash much considering the way you think he rides. Its very hard to be safe rider in Speedway so much depends on other riders." I think most probably Bartek intimidates some riders, that they know he won't pull out, once he decides he is coming through on the inside.

Hello I'm a postie and don't really think the packaging has anything to do with delayed deliveries. At my office there are probably around 85 staff and for the last week we have had 40+ people off with Covid so unfortunately some people will receive mail late and there's not a lot we can do about it we are trying our best but we just don't have the resources, and I'd imagine it's the same up and down the country. but hopefully things should start to improve in the next week or so.

The Headley 'Hawks' cycle speedway team used to compete just across the road from there!

Be good to see a few non- league posters on the General Discussions Football thread. Can remember watching east London Walthamstow, Leytonstone, Ilford, Barking, Clapton, at Dulwich Hamlet/Casuals in SE22. The Amlet shared with Corinthian Casuals, both played in pink, crowds of around 100-200. In the 60s the Isthmian League had teams such as Enfield,Hendon,Sutton,Wycombe, Kingstonian, Bromley, Maidstone, Wealdstone, St.Albans, Oxford City, Toot and Mitch, Woking, Hitchin. The Amlet were getting biggest crowds in National League South before lockdown hit, around 2000 average. New stadium approved. My dad played for Casuals at The Oval in early 50s, just before their defeat to Bishop Auckland at Wembley in 1956, crowd of 100000. The only cockney lad in a team of Oxbridge students, and still amateur.

SF has confirmed the line ups and stated on their about Jeppeson being replaced. Lyager already declared at no.8 so you would assume that Ostrow’s no.8 would of been declared too if they had one

Great call - added more to my previous stake. I’d imagine Walasek will be useless and Klindt isn’t fond of the wet track either

Took that and -2 after heat 8. No doubt he’ll get added as a No.8 1min before the meeting starts
  17. 1 point
Nope - he will probably go and score a maximum once i back that one

There was no BSF then... I'm sure there would have been many complaints

Don't worry. They've only done it so the casual observer can immediately understand what's going on.

It was an every race counts system last year - and there were flaws. The old World Final system was an every race counts system - and there were flaws.
  22. 1 point
    You can with 4-3-2-1.
  23. 1 point
Not with an "every race counts" system.

A Final 25, 21, 18, 16 B Final 15, 13, 12, 11. C Final 10, 8, 7, 6. D Final 5, 3, 2, 1. Those who have done the best on the night head to head against everyone else gets rewarded with the "big points".. And there is an extra reward in every final for winning it.. And the overall GP winner gets a decent amount over second but hopefully not enough to have the series over by half way due to an unassailable lead if he wins a few.. And, which will please the FIM, the GP winner is the one who crosses the line first in the final.. And the fifth race for everybody would be crucial to their final points scoring as the vast majority of the field would still not be sure of which Final they will race in, meaning a tense last four programmed races ideal for TV.. Then you can add four finals with the most evenly matched quartet of riders from qualifying up against one another...
