We had all this the other week with Crump.....if he's fit for Brum tomorrow night then he must ride for Lynn on Thursday.

Making a Tigers film tomorrow is the 3rd part off the trilogy, it’s called the collapse but it’s ok. coming to a cinema near you soon.

Guzumped talk to me! There I was in the log cabin concluding a deal with Busty for Jimmy Lynch & Main Man Rogers to be his team managers, when this dude in his XR3i shows up, shouting “sold it geezer! 1.5% commission, it didn’t even go on right move, where do I put my board?” Slick back hair, suit from Next and shiny shoes from Barrats! I couldn’t compare with such suave! Before I know it Busty offers him the job there and then! Main Man Rogers is heartbroken had his resignation to Mase typed up too! I’ve assured Main Man Rogers and Jimmy Lynch I’m slipping Busty a few hundred quid to sponsor the Stars next year! On the proviso that T Tibbs Motors Europe Limited’s operations director Jimmy Lynch is named Team Manager and our head of customer relations Main Man Rogers will be his assistant. I’ll even throw in a lovely Renault Clio Convertible for Big Dale! You know it’s a deal you can’t refuse Busty!!!

That’s a pretty bizarre thing to say and makes zero sense in all honesty. The bloke’s last meeting for Ipswich was a flawless 15 point maximum where he looked head and shoulders above everyone else on the night. If Cook should give the top league up and “just concentrate on the CL”, then 90% of the others in the top flight should do also! Not your smartest contribution Steve.

Les Collins, Michael Coles & Kenny McKinna all rode for Edinburgh in 1992. Their sons Aiden Collins, Adam McKinna and Connor Coles all rode for the monarchs at some time.

Pay on the gate will be available

A tight, grippy track was never going to suit Crump tonight so soon after big injuries, so unfortunately we didn’t see the best of him this evening. Cook can clearly cut it at Prem level, as he has shown repeatedly this season, so we will have to differ on that one, old mate!

Indeed, if folk cant front up after a defeat they don't deserve to post stuff like that.

Got your broadband fixed then Geoff I see... Not a great service though to be honest... Went off last Thursday evening didn't it?

what a breath of fresh air it was listening to Chris louis who actually knows what he is talking about instead of the clueless screaming Pearson, more of Chris louis for me please.

Hopefully good racing and a win for the Kings.

Only posts when they win, definition of a sore loser.

As a neutral, I quite enjoyed that. Dad's Army were beaten by the much younger and better team on the night. That's all..

Crap race track tonight..no outside line...suits B.Vue who have their gating gloves on tonight.... actually I'd go as far as to say a p** poor performance from our lads..beaten at the gate in nearly every race... hopefully this will give them a kick up the arse for the rest of the season.

These are only the figures they accounted for, if the world goes cashless then Speedway will be over If these were true losses they wouldn't do it Most probably saying they got 300 in the gate when it's more like 900, speedway is small enough to get away with being investigated

Josh Auty would be a better bet than Batchelor & would allow a bit of freedom for other changes.

Leicester were excellent value yesterday and Dan Thompson at reserve was the difference. Also must applaud the team riding of Dan Thompson by Scott Nicholls in heat 11 . shepherded him for all 4 laps. Many riders would of disappeared into the distance which may of allowed Lewi Kerr to get past but Nicholls was sublime in riding the inside line. Nigel Pearson would of approved hopefully re-run or British Speedway put this up on social media because it was excellent. AS for the track preperation that has been an artform for years at Arlington , I don't see it changing any.

To partially quote an earlier poster, with my comment in italic. "you have to hand it to the Eagles management for their track preparation" Good to be vindicated for something I knew always happened at Arlo ........ prepping the track riding lines to suit the home team happens everywhere, but doctoring the start grids is a step too far in unsportsmanlike behaviour. The "seagulls" took a pasting in part 2 as well I see in the training meeting.

Just wish that they all knew that Marcelina is Marcelina and not the 3+ different versions given over the weekend since she married a few weeks ago she must have the longest surname in Speedway Rutkowska- Konikiewicz. edit she does seem to call herself Marcela on instagram !

PETERBOROUGH have moved to update fans on their admission policy ahead of tonight's eagerly awaited clash with Belle Vue at the Showground. The club would still prefer fans to buy in advance via the link on the homepage of the club's website. However, there remains the option to pay on the gate but this will mean slower admission than those with advance tickets.Club owner Keith Chapman said: "We've been getting a lot of enquiries about the admission policy from today so we feel it appropriate to issue this update."Fans are welcome to pay on the gate, but we would prefer advance orders as this speeds up the process of admission to the venue."We're looking forward to a great night of racing against Belle Vue with great weather, we need to win and I'm sure Rob Lyon will have all the boys fired up for it."

No one raking the home gates this afternoon?

Too expensive, too boring, too many costly foreign riders, too many anoraks and too many midweek meetings. Couldn't agree more. Greedy riders and promoters expecting a couple to split with £45+ on windswept Monday night.....get real.

hawks1975, I could not agree more. I thought that the match against Redcar was a terrific entertainment and at one point I thought that the Kings just might get a result. While that turned out to be too optimistic, there were still a lot of plusses. Old Bob at Herne Bay should actually stop criticising from afar and failing to support his local team. Take the trouble to get out of your armchair, turn off the telly and enjoy what Hawks, myself and hundreds of others are enjoying at Central Park.

For me Bruce Penhall. Speedway was a big loser when he retired. We could do with a few more like him these days.
