  1. Good - he definitely deserved a recall for 2024!

  2. Lovely lad, 100% commitment every race. Feel like at 26 Danyon has reached his level tho, which is a good middle order rider in the second tier and reserve in prem so for me the likes of Jenkins, flint etc would be more favourable moving forward given they’ve seemed to reached a similar levels/surpassed Danyon slightly when several years younger and more scope to continue progressing next year to even higher standard. This year if Erik had been fully back to his best and Danyon hadn’t fallen off twice in the home leg of the final in scoring positions we’d have been champions - Ellis should be a big upgrade on the Erik we saw this year and Jenkins a rider with more potential upside to grow to higher level than Danyon through the season so we’ve significantly improved our weakest two team spots in a team that came within a whisker of winning the lot this year!

  3. You people need to stop biting. Orion is a sad little tool who only posts controversial takes for bites and you’re all making his life easy by jumping straight in his net.

  9. Man U didn't choose not to take part in the FA Cup. They were instructed by the FA that they had to compete in the World Club Championship as this would help the English bid to host the 2006 World Cup. The tournament clashed with the FA Cup 3rd round so they had to withdraw, and the media put all the blame on the club at the time

  11. This is a terrible side .. What is more amazing is people on facebook etc saying its a great side .. i must have read the names wrong to me a bit and pieces side that will get crushed in heats 13 and 15 week in week out

  12. Chris Harris at reserve? He can then effectively "guest" for riders in his own team
    2 points
  13. Very decent team, can see the reserve berth being a bit of hot potato with a different rider every month where that riders average sky rockets. Can see all but Janowski potentially spending time there - it worked for the Panthers when they won the league in 2021. I'm not a big Janowski fan, but it's good to have him back in UK league racing.

  14. Should have been Cheetahs in the Prem, Chargers in the Champ and Spires in the NDL in my opinion.

  16. I’m stunned at this announcement, never saw that coming. Think we should drip feed the Promotion the team just too mix it up.

  17. Looks a good team to me, can't agree with the very odd poster who thinks it looks poor. Great number one, solid throughout & possibly the best reserve in the league. Bringing riders back to the UK, using 4 Brits, what's not to like? Ok one thing, that there is only ONE Spire / Cheetah doubling up is odd to me.

  20. So I’ve just read had hoped he’d departed along with Jorgensen to pasture new unfortunately only Jorgensen has gone out of the two - Really hope this 2024 is Robs and Allit plays no part in it over the season

  21. I would be happy to see Magic Janowski anytime I could

  22. That’s a weak team imo compared to the other teams I’ve seen built for 2024. Need Dan to be fully committed to the UK this year & big improvements needed from norick who will be in the main team?

  24. You wouldn't, you're a Lynn fan aren't you Should be a good season for KL next year but I'm sure Birmingham will have a stronger line-up than the has-been poles.

  25. It must have been a draw surely? No other way it should be done.

  26. Let’s face it, he’s only putting a team in to make up the numbers to keep the NDL going and obviously needed a helping push to do that, but at least that is doing something !

  27. Looks a good side. Taken the two weaker links out from last season and replaced them with better.

  28. Very clear top 4 in no particular order (BV, Ips, Ox and Sheff) Then Leicester in 5th because they'll win more Bonus Points than King's Lynn and Birmingham with the team they've got that's built to dominate meetings at Home. KL and Brum flip a coin to see who ends up with the wooden spoon.

  29. Not sure on the reasoning TTT, dunno if clubs were told they had a bye or whether they wanted fewer meetings and requested it, but personally I’d rather have the extra meeting to go and watch. Not enough meetings as it is for me.

  30. I hear you, but..... I can't see that line-up brining the fans back, or 'new' ones in ..... just saying!

  38. I no it’s not really my place, but I hope it’s positive news about your stadium, riders come and go but Wimborne road is iconic and needs to remain a speedway stadium. I have good memories of many many years ago playing football there and it having Astro turf for corners because of the shape in the beazer homes league, unfortunately the dogs went, the football moved but the speedway needs to stay.

  39. Whoever your loyalty is with it is just great to see Sayfutdinov racing in Britain again. Sheffield is the team to beat but Witches look pretty strong if Rew + Jenkins can maintain their development.

  40. At home they have 2 x Heatleaders 2 x Second Strings 3 x reserves Away 2 x Heat Leaders 1 x Second String 4 x reserves Masters and Nicholls better score 12+ every week or this team is going to be beat heavily

  41. I agree with most of your comments except that some blame must rest with the BSPL who have effectively said no to Mildenhall running a few open meetings. Why anyone would want to work with a regime that tries to prevent you operating a business at any stadium and earning some income from the assets that they hold. It is largely the attitude that caused Kent so much grief and it was the last sort of pressure that Si Kellow needed given his poor state of health. You would hope that the governing body would have worked with Kent, but no not this bunch. You have to wonder who is really behind all this and then wonder whether they are proud of their actions. Two more tracks probably lost to the sport who join a long list and no one on the top table really cares as in each case they are sitting thinking i’m alright, why bother about anyone else. No wonder the IOW got out, it will not get any better. Still one positive for the BSPL, four less tracks to have to administer in 2024.

  45. I’d be happy to see Jenkins a witch in 24, made solid progress last year, nice kid with a good attitude! dunno if he’s still eligible for rising star or not has there been a list produced for the coming season yet that anyone has seen? I’ve not seen one on the website p.s Jordan wouldn’t like riding for Ipswich with Emil and Doyle at all, it would just super duper convenience with him being from Norwich and nothing else

  46. Very often, when a speedway promotion say 'we are taking a year out', it's the end. I can't see how speedway in the next 12 months, as a whole, is going to turn things around, for a promoter to say 'now is the time to run a team'. All very sad. Unfortunately, I said many years ago that speedway had to change and the costs were too high for those involved, but time after time (on here), I was told I was being negative. No, I was being realistic. The riders and the tuners have killed a sport, which at best, should have been, for many years, a semi-professional sport or even better, an amateur sport. Speedway will survive, but team/league racing will disappear in Britain, in my opinion.

  47. Appalling decision in my opinion. Simon is in the form of his life and always gives 100% for the team. He has been part of the Stars set up on and off for many years and is at least one rider who looks like he wants to ride for the team. I would have thought his contributions at the end of this season would have had him nailed on as a dead cert for a team place in 2024, but in typical Kings Lynn fashion, success is rewarded by being dropped and no doubt we will see the same old failures being rewarded with a team place?

  48. To an extent I understand going for a predominantly British side. Out with bombers long track commitments shouldn't be great deal involved with rearranging meetings unlike this season. But can't pretend I'm excited by that 7. Worrall, solid though he is, doesn't replace basso in points and certainly not in entertainment value. Let's hope the rumours are wrong lol
