Craig, once again, giving his critics a metaphorical kick in the bollox... "But he won't keep it up, Boo Hoo,I am right"...đ Great to see the lad winning and enjoying his racing .. Shame the Aces didn't go for him but well done Oxford for giving him the chance . And he is riding only at reserve so 5 points a match is the only target, not 15... "See, I knew he couldn't keep up those big scores, I was right again"...đ Hope he has a great season .5 points

Very sad news from yesterdays British Superports race at Oulton. an eleven rider pile up after the first bend sadly claimed the life of Owen Jenner and Shane Richardson. I believe seven of the riders involved in the pile up were injured with Tunstall picking up serious injuries. Best wishes to Tom for a full recovery and RIP Owen and Shane. As. You can imagine the meeting was abandoned. The risks these guys take to entertain us deserves more than just a few lines on a forum, but thanks to all riders for the entertainment you provide us with. thoughts are with Owen and Shaneâs families. Rest in Peace guys and thank you .3 points

If you look back at the GP results over the years there were never 10 or so riders putting up areal 5 fight we had multiple World Champions and same 4-5 rider filling 2/3rd spots.BZ is the best rider out there and the scoring system makes it even better for him.3 points

The bank holiday lunch time meetings do Belle Vue no favours, track will always be different for those than the usual Monday evening conditions, which nibbles away at the home track advantage. It might make the club a few more quid with extra fans making the journey but racing Isnât as good and puts home team on back foot also.3 points

It was shocking 2nd half with a blue groove and literally clouds of dust! They didn't attempt to save it getting like that so come off it!2 points

Hume is struggling for Berwick in the Championship. What the hell were the promotion thinking about expecting any different performances in the premiership. What a farce. Try tempting Timo Lahti over, Iâm sure he would be available and do a sterling job.2 points

It seems all riders prefer slick tracks mores the pity, only Bomber says he'd like more shale on track.2 points

You forgot the word POTENTIALLY. Young Cairns looks a very good prospect, I've seen him ride a few times. But don't start believing he's the new messiah until he's earned the right while dining at the big boys table. Same with Rushen, the two of them are great prospects but league racing and the pressure that they'll be under is a different level to what they've faced so far. I'd completely forgotten his name and remembered it straight after posting. Look at Kyle Bickley he win everything as a kid, where's he now ? So much pressure and anticipation put on his shoulders. Maybe in a few years he'll comeback, who knows.2 points

Should have made it top 2 non GP riders.. One night each.. Keep more riders interested as they go into the semi final...2 points

But... It is only a Play Off Qualifier, with a top 4 place pretty much assured this year given the Aces' usual home form as the dryer weather slickens the track and improves the racing and their passing of opponents.. The BH meetings generates good income and a win, no matter the scoreline, is a bonus...2 points

That's sound like an offer of help that the club can not miss. I know that some track volunteers will be there on Sunday from 8am. Shall I make sure they know you are coming?2 points

Ashton has so much talent...but I can see him walking away even if he isn't replaced at both of his teams, which is a distinct possibility right now. When he gates and is in fresh air he is absolutely rapid. When he doesn't gate, he is shutting off and not wanting anyone remotely close to him. Kings Lynn fans have said that at times he is just giving up while at the back and looks devoid of any confidence. It is such a hard watch and hopefully he gets these problems sorted as soon as possible, because he has talent to burn. Nobody wants to see it wasted.2 points

Leon Flint must be one of the most improved riders in the PL. I think he's surprised everyone with his early season form.2 points

Does no one talk to their friends or people standing next to them anymore. OK if it's raining I can understand why people want a quick meeting. But yesterday the weather was fine and there was plenty to talk about. Fans ask for more dirt and don't want dust but then don't want delays when it needs graded or watered.2 points

Not much, I don't know him personally but it appears the problem is not his machinery. I wish him all the best and hope he overcomes it as he has the talent to go a long way in the sport.1 point

Heeps is not that good around Poole, and with Masters taking one of his rides, that's a good chance of 3pts straight away1 point

It can be exciting but it very much depends on which track you're watching the action... and of course we all know that Pirates fans will turn out to watch speedway... but only on a Wednesday, as there's so much else to do in Poole for the rest of the week đ1 point

Touche You got me on the grammar,I was posting on my phone without my glasses, in my defence Cairns may very well be a step up from Bickley, I along with many others hope he is. Time will tell.1 point

Not making excuses, but the area has been incredibly dry for weeks, and summer-time hot for several days - plus the dreaded wind that impacts the exposed Heath. There are photos of the track surface prior to the match on the Facebook page. As for delays after crashes, the Regs have always stated that the track cannot be touched before a restart or rerun - although I think thereâs a proviso that remedial work can be carried out of the track is deemed to be at fault for the incident.1 point

The meeting was about 8 minutes longer than the previous one at Workington, however we didn't eat the not just cakes but impressive buffet platter until the end. I had a small cake just before the start and was choking on a crumb between reading the teams out, bit of a hazard.1 point

He rode against a few of them last season in the u19 Final at Oxford won his first 2 races then had a crash and withdrew.1 point

I noticed that used to happen at Berwick a lot, they'd grade the track at the same times every meeting. If they'd use r/r there would be a gap after one heat, nothing done, then track grading when no riders had two-on-the-trot. It was like it was an automated system they couldn't change, rather than the reality of telling the tractors the best times to go out.1 point

Not really, his forays into the Premiership in recent seasons have not been very successful. He is such an enigma though - the point I was making is that this had to come against Birmingham!1 point

It seems the more he tries, the more he's denting his already low confidence. He really would benefit from stepping back or even down. It's a shame. He's only a young lad and we all know he has the skills and talent but with that comes such massive expectations.1 point

Proud of the boys, did a lot better than some expected, and to stop Ipswich getting 60 at home is some going (donât think a lot of teams will achieve that this season). I sat exactly inline with the start/finish on the back straight and saw multiple nibbles at the start, with only Klindt getting pulled back. My only gripe is, if youâre going to enforce it, you have to consistently enforce it. At the end of the day Iâm humble enough to admit the better team won, once Ipswich got settled on the lacklustre track that was that, as they have too much firepower at the back end of meetings.1 point

I do worry for Birmingham and wonder if they will see out the season. I can't see the punters showing up to watch a team unlikely to win a single meeting.1 point

Decent effort from the boys today. Shame Klindt and Kvech couldn't maintain their performance all the way through the meeting. As for Boughen, i'd replace him immediately. He may be quick on a track on his own but he needs to realise there are 3 other riders in a race. Shutting down and totally bottling it! Him staying in the team will do no-one any favours. I'd go for Joe Thompson - can't be any worse!1 point

I agree, laguta is a brilliant rider and very fast but Iâve seen laguta when the track doesnât suit him, you donât see that in zmarzlik, there is plenty of riders who beat zmarzlik but those riders then go missing in the next round, even on his bad days zmarzlik never goes missing1 point
