If a rider has aspirations of making it big in Poland & reaching the GPs need to leave the Champ behind. I applaud any rider with the guts to give it a go.5 points

https://ipswichwitches.co/edwards-loving-life-with-tru7-group-witches-ahead-of-belle-vue-clash/ Meeting preview “The other thing that has been really good with Ipswich is if Andrew or Richard say they are going to do something, the following week, it has been put in place. That never happens in speedway. Everything they are doing they follow through on. From the start of the year to now, there have been big improvements. It will keep getting better, especially for the fans.”4 points

How can the GB management be so clueless when it comes to picking their best team. Rushen has to be in that team. They are genuinely useless at their jobs.4 points

As much as I miss Ben being in the Poole team, he was too good for this level, riding in the polish top league and capable of being unbeatable on his day, he’s not too far of GP standard and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see him in them in a few years. If we were to make the step up to the premiership, I’d like to think he’d be first name on the team sheet3 points

Level down the straight and then went across Zach, clipped him going into the corner and then hit him again, Anders certainly the cause of the stoppage3 points

Looking at his scores for Kings Lynn he could do with a bit of Championship racing to sharpen him up!3 points

Never heard that before about pulling cut out and getting restart I've seen many a rider pulling it out as a issue with bike but getting kicked out of race At very best that should also be a 15 mtr start as it delays the start3 points

I don't think there needs to be... Speedway is just another different discipline of motorcycling, and Ashton is obviously a very talented motorcyclist who can move across several motorcycle disciplines... He started off well in Speedway but clearly lost his way quite quickly given his short time in the sport... He definitely had the talent, as when in front coming out of turn two, could win races, and by some distance, the challenge for him seemed to be when other riders were around him.... That was when he would come off the throttle and let them past, or just drop further back if behind... No shame in not quite making it as a Speedway rider as countless others have tried and failed too... Who knows? Given his obvious technical aptitude he may give it another go, if not, at least he tried... Hopefully his new discipline sees him continually successful....3 points

He shouldn't have turned left, you can see in the excellent video analysis that @Dave_minall posted he literally turns his front wheel to the left at the 14 second mark... you can't show those that don't want to see 🙈3 points

This has been an ongoing theme since they took over. They’ve clearly made a very good impression on the riders particularly who haven’t been short of praise for the way they’re handling things. The insurance issue being the biggest one. That won’t have gone unnoticed to riders everywhere and you’ll now find the new promotion won’t be short of offers from riders asking to ride for them. Riders will now be aware it’s a place where they’ll be well looked after and the promotion will deserve the rewards from that. Early days still of course, but it’s been an excellent start from them so fair play to them.2 points

Ridiculous decision to exclude Rowe there. He was in front of the two Poole riders and didn't seem to deviate off his line. Can't believe he's been thrown out. Specsavers ref?2 points

Think with the dodgy RR for Poole tonight, they should be called the cheaters not Oxford 😜2 points

Thanks, that makes sense 😄 I was just wondering if maybe he had made a deal somewhere. I know the Scunthorpe fans have been asking for him lol, but I have a feeling he said he wanted to give Championship a miss this year to prioritise his Polish (Latvian) team? Interesting either way, nice to see him back racing at Berwick for sure.2 points

The entire speedway community is following the latest news regarding Patryk Budniak's health. As we've learned, the Gniezno rider has already undergone another surgery. This time, it involved his lower limbs. Importantly, the surgery went according to plan, and the patient's condition is slowly stabilising. Today (Wednesday) mark three days since the horrific accident in Gniezno. The young rider was airlifted to a hospital in Poznań. There, he underwent complex spinal surgery the very first night. The first, somewhat more optimistic news began to emerge on Tuesday. A series of further tests revealed no further injuries beyond those previously diagnosed, which involved the spine, pelvis, and legs. "The patient's lower limb surgery has been completed. It lasted three hours. Doctors say it went according to plan, with no complications. This is good news. The patient's condition is slowly stabilising, but he is still in the intensive care unit and placed in a medically induced coma. The timing of his awakening will be determined by doctors, who are constantly monitoring his condition," Zuzanna Pankros, spokesperson for the Poznań hospital, told po-bandzie.com.pl2 points

I think he secretly is an Aces fan.... As he seems to go into minute detail about their riders' capabilities, almost worrying for them whether they will do well or not... He seemed quite upset last season when Kurtz didn't perform well in the PO SF, just 48 hours before the biggest meeting of his life, (a meeting where Dan also scored four, including two lasts to Kurtz's one, with Kurtz getting paid for five points)....... Most Aces fans, on the various forums, by a huge margin, completely understood why their rider(s), would have been focusing on something of a much higher priority, especially on a track that wasn't exactly prepared for taking any risks... It was almost like he was the most die hard Aces supporter ever, totally in despair about Kurtz's performance... Hopefully he goes tomorrow and Brady gets a fifteen max for him, to make up...2 points

Actually I’ve deleted this post because I’m sick of bleating on about it to folk who just don’t understand well done to the lad he has found his calling and making the most of it2 points

How convenient a poor scoring rider is out, with a non speedway injury?? keeping his average high, for a future change, and far better riders take his place, thus potentially scoring more points 😲. That's not cheating is it 😃2 points

I'm afraid the Leicester track, despite recent improvements to the drainage, is renowned for being unable to handle downpours and thunderstorms. We had one of the latter this afternoon.1 point

LEICESTER’S home clash with King’s Lynn on Thursday has been postponed. The track at the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park is underwater after heavy downpours on Wednesday, and similar conditions are forecast for Thursday. A new date for the meeting is to be confirmed.1 point

There is something called the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester, heaven only knows why it was called this. Touted as one of the best race tracks in the country and pretty central why oh why aren't the Pairs and CLRC being staged there. British Speedway is just exasperating.1 point

He’s just won Ducatis first off road world championship round! That’s including all off road motorsports ie mx enduro ect. Ducati don’t just pick any one to represent them they obviously see Ashtons potential with his mx background. He won the meeting, set fastest times of the day, give Ducati motorcycles there first ever off road world win and has made history for both Ducati & his team.1 point

hi guys could we leave this alone my son took quite a knock in this incident . he and cooper who are good mates have discussed it and are ok with it. its racing it happens lets move on.1 point

these are young riders on a new track. i think he went to block harrison without appreciating the amount of speed he had scrubbed off would mean that he would likely cut him up. it wasnt as though it he fenced the guy but it was dangerous riding - intended or not1 point

Thought I'd put something together just to add a touch more context to the incident. Not passing any opinions - just thought it might help add to some conversations regarding it. It shows racing lines and a closeup which shows an apparent "left turn" which some think didn't happen. Edited video1 point

Not like you to be ott Iain! 2 points. I don't remember Nicki P excluded from a meeting from his questionable moves in the UK. Secondly, is it in the rules you can exclude someone from the meeting? Age and experience has to be taken into account. If anyone should be excluded from meetings it should be Ace Pjiper for threatening to take 'revenge' out on track on camera as well! Not for the first time either.1 point

A couple defeats in the grand scheme of things is nothing, the win is having speedway to watch and enjoy if you make the playoffs great if not at least you got your team to support and follow. Keep the crowd levels up and enjoy it while you got it.1 point

Watching the incident over & over & for me (unpopular opinion clearly) the referee made the right call. Rushen overshooting the corner a little & just tries to get his wheels in line quicker to regain speed to hold position. At no point through the whole move is he moving left down the straight. The view from behind is very very clear on that. For me, Harrison had enough time & room to see what was happening in front of him but failed to adjust to the situation.1 point
