Not just Ipswich I would say, the sport is in a mess and the loss of any one team would have a serious effect on the others being able to run a proper model. Your promoter talks a lot of sense, but so did Stuart Douglas when he brought Arena Essex and none of the other promoters would listen to him either because he was new and they don't the idea of change, even when things are in the gutter.4 points

I’m quite sure that if I’d been sacked I’d be trying to spin it in my favour also. I’m not really having a go at Poole or Bowes. It’s the grey or completely missing areas in the rules. It’s crackers that any team can just boot a rider, legitimately or not and rely on much better guests. Two weeks of R/R then employ someone regardless. There’s loads of riders who would jump at an opportunity like that.3 points

Yes there is a plan for new stadium should Wimborne Road ever be redeveloped. So nothing to worry about.3 points

He would be assessed as a GP rider now wouldn't he?.. Be great to watch around Ipswich... Stand well back though...3 points

I will try again. This has always been the league fixture between Poole and Berwick. Nobody at Poole has changed this fixture (it was the meeting at Berwick that was changed). This has been one of the 4 Berwick BSN matches from the start of the season. I have just checked my Berwick program from the first meeting of the season and this meeting is shown in the program so how can it be rearranged?3 points

Haven't seen a graveyard gate 4 like that for a long time - a bit bizarre really A freakish Drew Kemp performance was the difference between the draw we got and the Witches picking up the 10+ win to make it interesting - as simple as that3 points

Blimey... One average season in the last what? Five?... An "average season" where they will still make the play offs, and can still win the KO Cup...3 points

Well of course a few Poole supporters would reply, its a Poole thread about a Poole rider!2 points

Ok, we will have to go along with that. I feel like it may have been on FB (will take 10 years to trawl back over Poole fans group on there to check!) or possibly in Bournemouth Echo but wont let me go back that far in articles to the winter. I definitely read it somewhere but not sure i would put that much stock into what Clive says unless it was the answer i wanted i guess 😂2 points

Zach wasnt intending riding in the championship so he would of arranged his meetings without considering Poole fixtures. No need for nastiness on this forum.2 points

Lawson is just taking the piss and he couldnt care less,a 28 day ban should be brought in for him2 points

Having watched him for many years I don't think he ever gives less than 100%... Proper Box Office....2 points

Kelv’s new favourite rider 😁 We’d all look forward to watching him though wouldn’t we? Mad as a box of frogs in the nicest possible way. With the caveat of attitude and effort etc, the usual question marks when these kind of riders rock up over here.2 points

To everyone else it just looks like an underperforming rider has been given the boot so guests who will preform better can be used. Poole could bring in a ndl rider and guide and develop them. But that’s not there way.2 points

He was certainly pleased with it, especially as it was on an off race night. He came up to the sponsors lounge after the meeting for a chat and a few beers. Had the perfect opportunity to have a good chat about various things and he was happy to answer all my questions. Wont go in to what was said on here because that would be unfair, but he’s a really nice fella! Genuinely hope it works out well for him here he seems to have taken to the place already and is enjoying himself.2 points

Makes a big difference to any meeting when a decent amount of away fans turn up.. In Football the Premier League cap away fans at £30.. Speedway should do some similar reduced cost prices for away fans...2 points

King's Lynn aren't going to achieve anything until drastic changes occur. Jan Kvech hasn't improved at all since stepping foot on British soil. Ben Cook is the biggest throttle jockey the Sport has seen in recent years to a point where he's only consistent around tracks that don't require much skill (NSS and Polish tracks)2 points

When you watch Ben Cook in Poland last night you have to question his efforts tonight.Just topping up the pocket money.IMO2 points

With 25 points in two meetings at Foxhall this season, surely a place for Kemp next season should be a no brainier2 points

As a Poole fan hugely disappointed a british rider has to miss a British meeting to ride in a bloody Danish one! So fed up with everyone taking the piss out of british speedway, if you can't fully commit then f off!! Would rather watch national league racing knowing 7 fully committed riders barring illness/injury.2 points

If Lightcaps 2 points from 4 rides for Zielona Gora today is anything to go by I would rather not. BTW Cairns scored 10 in the same meeting.1 point
-
Why is Lawson missing again tomorrow? Masters guesting according to BSN.1 point
-
Not a regular rider in Britain, the top 8 averages from last season qualify to be seeded to the final, the other 16 ride in a semi final, so that is the reason Cooper Rushen got a wildcard entry, as he did not have an average as only turned 16 this year1 point
-
Prob going to be missing again this Saturday, unless he can do what Klindt couldnt and get to Poland on time!1 point

The only reports I saw of no clashes came from clive tyers and he's always making crap up to suit an agenda as you well know .1 point

Zach has missed fixtures for polish commitments and will do so before the seasons end, don't try to be a smart arse arfur you're as thick as mince.1 point

I think King will be too expensive from an average point of view next year.1 point

Bus from Piccadilly bus stops £2 each way, 201, 202+203 bus , stops a 5 minutes walk from the track, takes around 10/15 minutes depending on traffic and stops, buses run every 10 minutes during the day every 15 minutes in the evening. I had no problem using the bus for both days of the GP1 point

Wouldn't he be banned if he doesn't go?... It was mentioned that he should be asked on BSN last night about why he is in Denmark and not the UK.. Maybe the promoters of Poole should have explained why when informing everyone that they had booked Sam Masters to replace him... It is hardly the fault of the riders that such situations occur is it?..1 point

Well done to the Leicester Speedway Supporters Club for organising a coach to Ipswich allowing more fans to travel.1 point
-
A good win for the Foxes, about the best you can expect from that team and it's nice to see them finally do it. Still some issues, obviously, such as the second-best rider wearing the #2 race jacket and two 1-5s in the most vital heats, but you have to enjoy it while you can! Still a lovely place to watch speedway from the grandstand!1 point
-
Will indeed 😁 Thank you for inviting me in to the sponsors lounge and taking me on to the centre green to watch a few heats. Amazing how different the experience is when you’re that close! Blew me away1 point

I had forgotten about that - it was nasty one so maybe that's a factor - I hope he gets back to where i think we all know he can be. Cracking fella - he was trying - i don't think the track helped insofar as it wasn't easy to work lines to pass - but some did - in fact I have Tom making a 4th to 3rd spot move in heat 10 past Kyle Howarth. He tried hard in heat 13 but just couldn't get close enough to Masters.1 point

Agree, also there should be no guests allowed for riders away riding abroad except FIM meetings. The might taken the Promoters up when rearranging meetings.1 point

Bus 201 & 202 (I think) Still a reliable service after the meeting. [And free for us ancients]1 point

Good scores for Batch and Drew tonight in the Premiership1 point

Nothing really to write home about tonight. Brennan still struggling, Lawson still not a team player and pushing Edwards into the fence and somehow we managed to draw it. Story of our season so far, nearly, but not quite. Belle Vue if we finish fourth will put us out in the play off semis. Well to be fair, any team right now puts us out of the play offs. Still… could be worse… we could be Lynn!1 point

Trouble is they well watered it last time Leicester was there and the track was unraceable.1 point

Surely it’s not about what will or won’t benefit people most; it’s about completely disregarding the planning decision. Imagine if everyone did that it would just devolve into chaos.1 point

I get your point and on many levels I agree with you … Aussie qualifiers are tricky you have to do the Aussie champs which Doyle doesn’t as he is based and settled in the UK…. Unsure about Fricke situation…… but yes if Doyle wants to be in the series he could make the effort to do the qualifiers My point was that people bang on and on about ‘new blood’ in the GP’s and getting rid of certain riders…. I want the best 15 out there and like any qualification system you will never get that … the one off world finals had the 5 eastern block riders when quite clearly there was probably a dozen at least riders who missed out on the one offs. My point is now we have 2 riders … one new and one who has done it before and they simply are not as good as the riders they replacing ….. I would prefer Doyle and Fricke as they are better than Tungate and Nilsson by a mile …. But yes they didn’t do the qualifiers1 point

The riders go home if it’s raining so you are as well preparing the track properly (watering).IMO.You always get good racing on a well watered track after 3-4 races.1 point
