  1. Eastbourne is an awful track IMO, far too tight and narrow.
  2. Dan and Robert not far away, I reckon they can be regular finalists and challenging at the top end of the standings over the next year or two. Bewley needs to be harder where necessary and Lambert believe in himself a little more. But the signs are good for the near future.
  3. Yet were missing riders and our losses aren't unlucky? Not to mention Pickering's bike issues (just one of those things). Works both ways. I think to put it into context Sheffield are the strongest 1-7 out there, you could possibly have seen us nicking it the other night with Iversen and Thomas present. I think not getting carried away with the league cup results was sensible but equally a couple of defeats shouldn't mean that either. However wins needs to start coming soon if we want to grab a top four spot.
  4. I'm afraid the main reason clubs close is because of the people who run them and run the sport. Give people a good product at value for money and they will buy it, it has ever been thus.
  5. I don't think he's a number one in fairness. But if we are going to give our riders a track which is so grippy that it's difficult to pass on then they need to be gating much, much better than last night. We are bang average at the moment, no Puk or Jack doesn't help but the early season spark has disappeared unfortunately.
  6. If you had a black hoodie, a pair of glasses and a pint in your hand I think I spotted you So many points thrown away by Lynn tonight but ultimately Sheffield's top four were far too strong with Mountain chipping in too. We are so inconsistent right down the order at the minute and I don't think such a grippy track suits us. Need some away points now and quickly!
  7. Track too grippy, racing poor so far. Hope the early season slicker tracks aren't a thing of the past.
  8. Hopefully the sun will stay in so we can get on with it without a delay!
  9. That looked 50/50 to me, Lawson was very hard and it looked like MPT had started to lift anyway but if you look where Lawson ends up I think there is every chance he would have cleaned Toft up anyway had he stood his ground. You could make a case fir either being turfed out. I'm sure one thing we can all agree on is that if it had been MPT storming under a Poole rider like that the opinion of Shovvy would have been completely the opposite
  10. Ellis unavailable too presumably? I agree, it's a pretty underwhelming line up.
  11. If those people in Lynn could keep those if us who aren't abreast of the shower situation please we'd be very grateful
  12. If I've read it right he meant after is exclusion, and therefore winning the final race to get a draw. It would be good to see a video clip of the incident as most people agree that Richard Lawson isn't that type of rider at all. It's not a stunt though is it, its perfectly within the rules
  13. If Plymouth didn't have bad luck they'd have no luck at all.
  14. Mick Norris for Puk; http://kingslynn-speedway.com/homepage
  15. I think you worry too much Doesn't really matter that Peterborough are catching us, what matters is that we get enough points from twenty meetings to finish at least fourth. As it stands we've raced less meetings than everyone else but like every home meeting it's important to win them. R/R would be ok but 7 riders is better so hopefully we can get a good one. 46-44.
  16. People could probably accept that if it was on a weekend! I always advocate a neutral venue but those don't really exist any.more with doubling up rife. Thank goodness for the stream for fans of the northern clubs.
  17. It can only be home for hone advantage, Wolves aren't the first track to do it but its a downward spiral the day the track is prepared for home riders and not entertainment.
