Every move they make is to the benefit of helping others whether that be other clubs, or riders themselves to the detriment of their own aspirations. They wouldn’t even dream of dumping a young British rider (Mountain) for a crap Aussie in the hope of gaining any sort of on track advantage. Nope, not the wonderful Belle Vue Aces! They leave all that shenanigans to the other desperate cretins like Ipswich and Chris Louis who have a win at all costs attitude, apparently. And then keep employing that crap Aussie 👀 1

Typical Aces attitude, never their fault, bad luck only happens to them. 1

I was replying to a poster who stated we had Brady & Dan in the team for the 2021 play off final. This was factually incorrect. I still think it’s a good idea to limit the amount of Brits (or Brit in our case) being sacked mid season. That’s opinion not attitude and I get some fans disagree as we often get chastised for being too loyal. Last year we used 2 guests and stuck with the same 1-7. I like that and I understand others don’t but there is now need to get all passive aggressive in subsequent posts. I’m baffled that fans don’t agree with how we do things but as it’s generally (rich) fans who run the sport, it’s not lost on me as to why our sport is in such a mess.
THE DEAN MACHINE
After sitting through that Richie Hawkins interview on YouTube and just about managing to stay awake it occurred to me to me that what speedway needs is a Steve Bracknell type character,I know he is a parody but you have to make people want to watch content

It’s your holier than thou tone of your posts that irk people. ”oh if only all the other clubs were like belle vue, we’d never treat riders like other clubs do” (you know, accept for when you do) like you’re the saviours of British speedway and everyone else has an active agenda against belle vue to bring British speedway down.

Interesting to read the star this week and the comments from Jason Edwards about the club ethos and management at Ipswich - hugely complimentary - lets just hope that isn't lost Edited 5 hours ago by GeneralMelchett

Yet another overseas rider being given a chance to take up a spot that a UK rider should have got... And on, and on, and on, the Great Plan goes.. Well, if it ain't broken, and all that!!! Where was this energy when Mark Lemon dumped Jake Mulford for Tate Zischke @ No.6?

A continuing downward spiral of short term reactions, that means UK riders get replaced, become disillusioned, and then give up... If genuine World Class talent was coming in, then fine... However, invariably, for the last 30 years or so, most overseas riders have been nothing more than journeymen using a revolving door... And all done to win something with little kudos or relevance given the operating model used... Maybe ensuring more supply than demand for riders could mean UK Speedway gets ran authentically like other nations run their version of the sport..? It certainly won't happen with so many teams not even bothering to take UK rider development seriously, and also not protecting those who are on the lower rungs of the professional ladder...

Only way to stop it, Is to bring in a rule stating that both reserves have to be British Riders which would leave Clubs looking something like the following. BV -> Mulford and Cairns KL -> Rushen and Scott LEI -> Kemp and Gilkes IPS -> Jenkins and Edwards SHE -> Harrison and Killeen

I think you were responding to me - if you were then that wasn't what I said. I was responding to the debate around the league being weak that year. The comment on the play off final was only about the result and Scott beating Bewley. So your statement above is factually and certainly and definitely incorrect.😉
