Aries Posted yesterday at 06:53 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:53 AM Premiership season kicks orf tomorrow and nobody has started a thread š when was the last time that happened in years gone by? Been a winter of turmoil and itās obviously (understandably) affected peopleās enthusiasm.Ā Ā Anyway, fancy an away win here. Belle Vue are always a strong home side but have a tendency to start the season slowly and Sheffield have a better side.Ā

Didn't even bother going along to the Leicester P&P even though it was a lovely afternoon. I've lost my Mojo baby!

We all love our Speedway despite the noise and the habit is difficult to shake off at least for the majority of us. Stick with it Iain we DO have a positive in that weāve got a brand new track up and running, and letās hope this time next year we have another one or two joining the party and things look a lot healthier.Ā
ouch Posted yesterday at 11:43 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 11:43 AM Looking at the fixture at Owlerton, is it correct that the only Adult tickets available online are Ā£35? Ouch! Iāll be 10mins away that day so will pop along to enjoy the racing.Ā

Manifesto
Canāt make it across to this one so will follow the updates.Ā Ā Two good looking teams. Think whichever 1 and 5 can score the most will win their team the meeting.Ā Ā Going 48-42 home win

InTheDeepStuff
Feeling this will be a close one, majority of the Belle Vue riders have had a good amount of sparring matches/ Individuals in Poland and the odd UK outing where as Sheffield have a couple without much true racing action which could give Belle Vue the upper hand. Ā Hopefully thereās some good action between Bewley, Kurtz, Holder bros and Pickering and not too much follow the leader races. Just based on it being early doors and the odd rusty rider going for a home win for Belle Vue 47-43Ā
DaveWayne
Belle Vue to win on Monday, but then lose out on the aggregate point on Thursday.
Garry1603
Can see it being close on Monday, but Sheffield to win easily on Thursday. This Belle Vue team will struggle at most away tracks I feel unless Cook can really step up. The key to Monday will be Cook, Blodorn & Kildemand for the Aces. They'll need to get around 20 points between them to get a home win. Kurtz / Bewley should be good for about 25 points but reserves won't get much. 89buttons
A meeting thread at last! The longest winter of all time drawing to a close š can see this being a very small home win or even an away win tbh Chris holder looked dynamite in the Peter craven meeting, and killer looked the opposite jack and picko will likely score less than Brady and Dan but beat everyone else and not be far off, I think etheridge will have the better of Tate at the bottom end too. Zach and blodorn vs flint and rowe could go either way all 4 capable of decent haul on their night
Gavan
Belle Vue to win the home leg but Sheffield on aggregate as Belle Vue have built a side that the top 2 apart canāt ride away tracksĀ

ShanoXtra
Sheffield to win both legs. Belle Vue are far too top heavy from what I see. They will rely on Bewley and Kurtz to max out every meeting to win.
ouch
The Aces take on my favourites to once again be the best team in the land and top the table as they have made a habit of lately. Lots of question marks with The Aces. Will Tate finally get going as we know he can? Will Will be the star fans expect? Will Norick get back on track and move forward after stalling for a season or two? Will Peter turn the clock back if only a bit? He is the most problematic signing for me and not very āBelle Vueā. Once Bangs went beyond our budget maybe potentials were scarce. I could see The Aces breaking the mould and look to team changes mid season with this team place but I hope Iām wrong. We are dropping over 2.50 points in this position but that is countered with the limit dropping by 3.00 for all.Ā As with any team if some or all come good then we are sorted but if not I still expect to meet the tigers in the PO final where anything can happen.Ā Tonight 47-43 and another NSS last heat decider.Ā
