But letโs pretend that didnโt happen what about hitting Kildemand in bend two or putting Battye into the fence mid straight? Surely even the Poole rose tint canโt excuse that. The last time was Jyeโs error who dropped it as cooper was nowhere near him. Most apart from Berwick fans thought that. Gambo95
Berwick used their get out of jail card there. If Cooper had just sat in 3rd place then Poole would have won the meeting (with Sam being in front and Cooper keeping Reid honest). Thought that Kennett would be in but Sam was doing the job before Cooper decided to take another Berwick rider off.
Fromafar
Like ย Coopers enthusiasm but he really needs to curb it a little or someone is going to get seriously hurt. You canโt keep knocking riders off and expect them all just too take it.His name will be in a few black books. That move tonight was very rash.Big thank you to Havvy tonight .It was a decent meeting (without a lot of passing)with some good tussles. spin king junior
Word from Havvy regarding not using Kennett - must say, I find Havvys post meeting words quite pathetic. Comes across as a complete sore loser.ย ย "Obviously I am a bit gutted at the end, but overall very proud of the lads. They did a great job and you know, poor Coops (Cooper Rushen) getting excluded for that. He got by him and the throttle goes two ways you know. I didnt agree with the call at all. Then they expected us to go out in the dark for heat fifteen, so I spoke to the referee and said it is dangerous. He agreed with me, so what did they do? They put three lights on the back straight that shone onto the football pitch and there was nothing on the corners. The corners were pitch black, you couldn't see a thing and listen, speedway is a dangerous sport as it is and it doesn't need to be made anymore dangerous. But we got the bonus point. Of course I would have liked the win, it would have been good. It clearly meant a lot to them, they were dancing around as if they had won the league. They won't even make the play-offs! But as I said, I was proud of the boys. They had a couple of off races but that is to be expected here. If you can get out the traps and get a bit of fresh air between you and them then its great. But It's like a night and day difference. If you're behind and you're getting roasted with shale it's a horrible battle. I really wanted to use Eddie (Kennett) a bit more but the guy was blown out. Really feeling it. Absolutely knackered. He's 40 years old and been out the sport for a few years and he just couldn't do it. I wanted to use him in heat 14 but he said he was done. I knew we needed him so I did a deal and said if you cant do 14 you will have to do 15, which he did. But it is what it is and on a different day we would have won that." ย ย

I don't like that comment, no need for it. Does he not realise, why clubs are delighted to beat Poole? It's because they are the best, it's a tribute to Poole that opposition teams & fans are so delighted to win against them.

I've been watching the kid regularly for 1ยพ seasons and he can certainly ride safely. He's produced overtaking manoeuvres that many more experienced riders can't. 21 minutes ago, Fromafar said: Like ย Coopers enthusiasm but he really needs to curb it a little or someone is going to get seriously hurt. You canโt keep knocking riders off and expect them all just too take it.His name will be in a few black books. That move tonight was very rash.Big thank you to Havvy tonight .It was a decent meeting (without a lot of passing)with some good tussles. Who does he keep knocking off? Other than Battye this evening (assuming he did as I've not seen it) who else has he 'knocked off'? Certainly not Etheridge and the only other incident I can think of is where he may have been at fault was the Northampton one with Harrison and Scott, and he's certainly not in their 'black books'. You have to expect a bit of exuberance from 16 year olds but he's incredibly controlled and safe for his inexperience.

They will keep doing it until someone stops it. They could put a NDL rider in and probably still win the league but thatโs not the Poole way. Poole wre probably hoping for Riss to return for Oxford so they could sign Kennett
