Ben has endeared himself to the fans with his 100% commitment and bright happy personality However he is finding it tough in the championship and points are hard to get. I feel he's learning and improving every meeting and will have an important part to play at some point.

I say let's see how they go. We're going to finish bottom, so let's have a look towards next season. If there is one. Batch has done better the last 2 home meetings, but to be fair, he only top the scoring against KL, because he had 7 rides! Think it's timely whether he's injured or not. Don't think he had come to terms with the track. There was always at least one race a meeting where he seemed to get caught out by it. Shame about Matej, but just not on it enough. NK should relinquish the captaincy (NKI?). concentrate on himself to get back to form. We know it's there somewhere by the scores he' s been putting up for other teams. Don't think he'll be a Fox next year.

Don't get your point, he was riding after the accident, but was recalled to hospital with a possible vertebra condition, so did not ride, now got the all clear, so can ride and make money anytime he wants, as he is self employed, and if he is not fit, can pull out of the Berwick meeting, without using that meeting as a fitness test run out, but using the Poole meeting

He is fit He is not testing his fitness, he has taken a guest booking to earn money. It is a short season and not much of it left so why shouldn't he. Jason Edwards was saying about not having enough racing on tv the other day. He said ideally would like at least 3 meetings a week.

Newcastle used guests or R/R Bradley Wilson-Dean in 2022, after he was injured in his third meeting for us. We then went under a few months later, though.

Didn't Plymouth use guests for nearly a season a few years ago.

Up to Jordan. Also if you stop your riders guesting for other teams then when you need a guest other teams will say no. Not sure that is a road you want to go down really.

He rode for Berwick, scored well then had a recall about previous x rays. 100% did the right thing waiting for more info. But he is fit. No need to test that for someone else.

Agree with Fozzie, if I was a Berwick fan I'd be happy with Jordan testing himself out for Poole, if he's not fully fit, won't harm Berwick. But for Berwick's slim play-off hopes to stay alive, they need Glasgow to keep losing, so Morris could be helping knock his own team out of the play-off race (Glasgow look easier to catch than Edinburgh).

I can't remember the last time a club has been "forced" to sign a replacement for an injured rider. I just assumed they got a facility for as long as they want? I'm not talking about riders injured pre-season i.e Woffinden, but riders injured during the season i.e Kennett.

Look at it another way he's testing his fitness before he's riding for his own club. He could ride tomorrow and realise he's not fit

Tbf even Doyle has upped his form round Belle Vue coz he wasnt always scoring heavily when he rode for Ipswich round there, but then again i suppose he aint got Kurtz/Bewley to contend with saying that.

Jordan has been declared fit, and more importantly safe to ride. First meeting… as a guest. Not a gripe with Jordan but with the system that allows a rider to miss meetings for their clubs. Then appear for someone else. How does that make sense?

It is a huge challenge and it might still fail but it’s worth fighting for. Earlier this year people were saying nobody would travel to Northampton from Coventry now they are apparently. Stock cars are a bit alien to me but don’t the fans follow the drivers around the country wherever geographically the meetings are .I assume there wouldn’t be a fixture clash between brafield and Brandon. BE have to agree to sell I get that and there’s the Rub, but at the moment all the planning arguments are with the campaign group. And there’s is the money allocated for refurbishment of the site.
