Hardly anyone outside the few thousand who follow the sport would even notice if he came back into Speedway... It isn't like any return would drive tens of thousands away... As that has already been done by others down the years... And if anyone wants to make a stand by not going should any convicted criminal be riding then let them.... Plenty more will still turn up regardless of his presence.... And, if we are now only allowing ex cons to do certain jobs, why should others then be made to work with them? Other "labourer's" in your scenario may not want him there with them for example... Therefore, what jobs does society say ex cons can do without someone having a protest? The bottom line is hardly anyone in this country has heard of Speedway, let alone Jason Garrity...

He did wrong & was punished in a court of law. His sentence was to serve 7 years in prison, due to good behavior he was released early only serving half his time. He now wants to return to normal life & that includes racing speedway. I'm not Judge or Jury but I am willing to give him time & space to prove he can be a valid member of the speedway community

Should be banned for a specified amount of meetings not a specified amount of time.

Absolutely brilliant call by Buster. I have evidence that shows there's absolutely no way supporters could even get their cars on the car park. Nothing to be investigated here

That’s the reason for the call off then. Absolute cheats. AGAIN.

Would that be Ryde or Parkhurst?

No action against Doyle. Common sensed prevailed in the end. (Six words you don't often see on a Speedway forum).

I agree. Should be awarded 0-75 everytime there is a call off like this where the meeting could unquestionsbly gone ahead. Promoters doing this kills people's enthusiasm. Someone should have gone there yesterday to investigate it. We might have a situation where Jason Doyle misses a match through no fault of his own and gets a fine or a ban yet promoters can do this.

As SCB official nearing the stadium to make a track inspection...

The sport which has the most offers and offers them continuing employment is football. Yet every week people pay to watch rapists, drug cheats, wife beaters who steal a living through the sport.

Lynn usually show us a picture or video of the track around the usual race time to show us how bad it is… we didn’t get that last night for some reason… haha

Plus... That banner could have come away from the fence and wrapped itself around someone's legs, causing them to trip and drown...

Hope everyone in King's Lynn is keeping safe. With all of that rain the drains must be overflowing by now.

I wish Vadim Tarasenko all the best. Hopefully Vadim quitting will burn a big hole in Buster's pocket once attendances drop after a few more batterings.

I don't see why speedway riders must be holier than thou, to be riders. I'm pretty sure many riders have a 'back catalogue' or skeletons in their cupboard. Many boxers have skeletons and back catalogues. I do understand speedway promoters getting worried about the affect on their gates. On the other hand, he might be a draw. 'Come and see the bad boy come good'!

What a woke society it is now a days. Big whoop a couple of “naughty” words used. In the heat of the moment, just expressing their feelings, get on with it and get over yourself.

i heard from someone in the know that the 2025 season maybe scrapped as rain is forcast for some of the days
  18. 4 points
Yeah probably get a 90 day ban in November

I am sure Sheffield might have something to say about that!

Buster is a crook always has and will be. A competent sport would look into this and take action but we all know that won’t happen.

I daresay they are trying to work out what to do/say as unlike Tungate he didn't miss his flight he was actually on the plane. Personally I don't think Doyle/Ipswich should be penalised for something that was clearly not their fault.
  22. 4 points
Absolutely no way he would miss any meeting no matter where it was he is too professional and dedicated to his career. This has never happened before so maybe just maybe it’s the truth about flight having technical issues.
