Goodness me, this is embarrassing from the Peterborough management. Every fan wants to hear their management team interact with fans but there rules, those rules are, no matter how angry fans are don't belittle & down play their importance under any circumstances. As I've always said, a clubs closure is NEVER the fault of it's supporters. The blame is 100% owners.

They are so far out of touch it is unreal. The only abuse that’s been dished it has come from their side. As I said to Johnson… when you are in a position of management… arguing with your fans on social media with comments like your own has made themselves and the Panthers look incredibly poor. These people are those who have kept the club afloat the past two years. An absolutely disgusting way to treat the paying customers, It’s clear to see PR hasn’t been covered in training staff members.

Harsh. He’s doing exactly what it says on the tin with him. He’s been a 5-6 point rider for many years now, what were you expecting? At this stage of his career he’s not going to suddenly blossom in to a 7 point rider. There’s little surprise either with Andersen or Iversen. People said they were on decent averages, they never were. They’re washed up has beens whose averages were only ever heading in one direction! You’ve cut Basso some slack there because of his age which is fair enough, but if one rider so far has been a big disappointment it’s definitely him. He’s been awful.

As an Oxford fan who was starved of speedway for 14 years , be thankful that you are at least still running this year and get behind the club in any way you can to help . It will be a travesty if it goes , but I can’t help thinking if I were involved in the club how depressed I would feel reading some of the comments . The club needs you more now than when they were winning ..!

Think there is too much emphasis on the precision of the averages,possibly a better grading system would suit.Let’s face it going to .01 is a bit ludicrous in speedway.

You could argue that it's not the lowering of the averages is the problem, but the way certain teams have been put together. I think the idea behind the lowering of the averages was to try and cut out the number of "big-hitters" in the CL. But it has had the opposite effect in many cases and there are riders who have come in to the CL who are not ready.

Exactly this, Worrall is doing what he does every year and is a 5.5-6.5 rider at best so holding his own, Cook in his first full season in the top league and Jenkins as the RS are doing what's expected of them generally also, the problem mainly lies with how the team was set up originally, Basso should never of been in a HL role in his second season, number 2 or 4 at best, and Andersen should of been shoehorned in at reserve if they were so keen to have him back again, and the other ageing Dane Iversen is simply past his best sadly as a HL in this league.

How was the football match allowed to go on for so long? I thought there was a sports curfew in the area.

First time i've visited Glasgow this season and i left thinking this could be the year barring injuries that the Tigers lift some silverware. Bomber for me has always been box office regardless of where he rides, he's just a class act and worth the admission money on his own. Along with the in form duo of Basso and Brennan they form a strong heat leader trio. Glasgow seems to bring out the best in big Claus Vissing who along with Marcin Nowak form strong second strings. Ace Pjiper was very impressive tonight for someone 16 years old and as a Worky fan i'm gonna enjoy watching his progress for the Comets NDL team while the reborn Lee Complin is not far away from scoring bigger points. Bearing in mind it was cloudy most of the afternoon i was disappointed that there was dust from heat 1. Some of the racing was top drawer especially from Bomber and Tom Brennan. Scunny with the exception of flying Ryan Douglas and the early races of MPT were generally disappointing.The previous comments regarding their recent team changes are well justified in my opinion. At £20 pound admission and £3-50 for a programme its just as well the racing was generally entertaining.

He definitely came 7th after coming 5th in the 5 man 4 heat mini tournament for the last two places

Well that was the steaming turd on my sporting cake this week. Absolute thrashing and not a lot of good racing. Congratulations to Poole, not a single weak link in the team tonight and thoroughly deserved to go through. Ben Cook the star man for me, quality ride in Heat 15 and superb throughout. For the Bears I can only really say Charles has a decent meeting. Lewi started the meeting well but faded and Danny made some uncharacteristic mistakes in races. Edwards had a poor night (thought he was unlucky to be excluded though) and the other 3 have not scored more than 10 in a home meeting between them all season and you can’t win meetings against good teams with that sort of contribution. Like I’ve said many times the Redcar track holds no fear for any visiting team and if the Bears have an off night it’s always going to be a struggle to win.

That last part wouldn't work, as many 2.09 riders who improve their averages from 3 to 4 will be dropped for the next batch of 2.00 riders. I'd certainly be happy with the number 7 having to be the lowest averaged rider & not being allowed to get dropped in heat 8.

So unless you clean the toilets or repair the air fence you are not entitled to voice your opinion ? Another embarrassing statement from somebody who did not engage his brain, if you deliver sh** you should be expected to clean it up.

I can't help but laugh at the current situation. Dropping a young talented rider in Joe Thompson for a worse rider in ablitt along with Max Clegg who struggled in a top Leicester team. For all those who said it was 'the right call' ,' it makes sense', 'sorry Joe that's speedway' I can't help but think god what absolute clanger you've dropped there. I bet Joe's family have a cheeky smile on there face knowing Joe has signed for a club on a few miles down the road for them and the Scunthorpe management are slightly red faced !

The only person talking about Roynon being dropped is Lewy!!! Surprise surprise.

Don't recall that being mentioned at the time (perhaps it was but I wasn't paying much attention). Looked at Swindon Council website and can't see anything matching our plan with Policy LP30. Peterborough Speedway's position is pretty transparent and the responsibilities within the city's local plan are clear. Yes money talks and backroom deals allegedly seemingly decide most things these days, so yes any fight may be in vain if the will isn't there within PCC, but anyone fighting for the soul of the club has something to work with. Also, within the last 10 days a development has been turned down close to the EoES because, and I quote: "The plans had triggered protests from political leaders including North West Cambridgeshire MP Shailesh Vara. They claimed the project contravened the council’s Local Plan"

The problem we have is our heat leaders are not winning races, that’s where we are missing out, generally guests and RR are just not cutting it and Iversen isn’t performing anywhere near what was expected. That heaps pressure on the middle and bottom order who are struggling to fill the gaps, Basso, Cook and Jenkins are fine they are still learning, it’s Worrall and Andersen who need to step up their performances but at the moment both are generally struggling. After 7 defeats the team’s confidence has deteriorated and the desire just doesn’t appear to be there with several of the more experienced riders.

Are you referring to the Fours? Didn't he release Jack Holder to race in Poland for a fee? I'm kinda impressed tbh, these days Poland would just take the rider & GB has chosen to give up their priority on certain race nights.

Its possible that the money to be invested to keep the club running was on an understanding that in return he and Johnson would have control over the team make up and since the Holdergate issue hes not paid the money as he didn't get the agreed freedom to sign who they had lined up but you'll likely never know the truth .
