Co-op funerals advertising on TNT during SGP2... they certainly know their demographic ⚰️4 points

Just for balance, in heat 7 Anders gated and the race was stopped. In the re-run he didnt and Oxford got a 4-2.4 points

Congrats to Leicester on winning the KO Cup, and the double for you Leicester fans is certainly on. On the meeting itself, didn't really think Lynn had much of a shout after Monday's draw, but as they proved at Foxhall a couple of weeks ago, Klindt at reserve can rack up the points, so anything was still possible. On Heat 6, we all see it differently, but after seeing Kerr's pass quite rightly allowed against Dan Thompson at Foxhall (Just Hard Racing)i feel it was the correct decision to exclude Klindt, but again just my opinion, and it had no effect on the overall result whatsoever. But i must admit, even though Lewi Kerr wasn't great on Monday, to leave him out for an old and still injured Scott Nicholls was mind numbing, Scott hasn't even had 1 ride at this level in 12 Months and Lynn throw him in for a Final. Bad choice for me, but again, Kerr might not of made much improvement on the score. Lynn were superb at Foxhall in 2nd Leg, and it's all If's and But's, but if Iversen was riding that night, i'm not so sure Lynn would of got through, especially going on Monday and Thursday's scores, but they did and they totally deserved to go through. Now it's time for teams to complete their League Campaign's and see what the Play Offs Bring, top 4 has been welded in since the 1st week of the season, let's see how the Semi Final's pan out and hope the season finishes on a high with 6 cracking meetings. Then of course, for another day, where will UK Speedway be this time next year with what teams race and in what league. Congrats again to those Lions Riders and Supporters.....4 points

I haven't seen Cairns being moaned about from any Poole fans! seems a wind up from other teams supporters! He is 16 and already done an amazing job and he will continue that in 2026 with Poole!4 points

Come on clive you've watched enough speedway to know this was blatantly cheating i expected better from you.3 points

I hate to think what could of happened if he had tripped or not got through the gap in time3 points

Well, I quite enjoyed the meeting. I've never been a fan of the track, but there was some racing and definitely plenty of incidents - certainly more than Monday night. Heat 6: hard ride by Fricke - he had the speed and the line, and it was very much a GP type of pass. Similar principle to Kerr's pass on Thompson in the SF at Foxhall. Chris Harris: He has reached the highest level of the sport, and produced some remarkable, memorable racing - but what a whinger last night! Complaining about the track, and saying that he'll always do his best to entertain - but forgetting completely how dreadfully poor he was on his home circuit on Monday. As expected, KL's decision to use guests backfired - the benefit of having a strong reserve negated by poor performances that swallowed-up the reserve rides. Leicester by far the better over both legs. PS: Are Leicester going to be allowed a facility for Becker for the rest of the season?3 points

All the refs at Poole get free b/b at Bailey House 😝2 points

Anyone thinking Morris was just going to rock up and score 8-10 points with no competitive racing for 2 years is living in dreamland. Was always going to be more 3-5.2 points

If, as you say, there's still time to revert I wonder why they made the move so early, unless other clubs were sniffing around, no pun intended.2 points

... do the refs also have massive Pirates logos on their backs when they visit Poole? 🤔😂2 points

If you zoom in on the little patch of stand on the home straight, and don't zoom out again.... it looks healthy.2 points

These King's Lynn lot are quite sore losers aren't they... you'd think they'd be well used to it by now 😂2 points

Not sure which Worky will turn up for this, hope it is the sharp confident racing head on one. I will be cheering them on . UTC👍👊2 points

He’s just presenting the facts,You’re the one who mentioned bribery..2 points
-
But he didn't, so you're saying Poole bribed the referee2 points

The best and most positive aspect of the final was that it took place in July as planned rather than in monsoon conditions in mid October Below par track surfaces, poorish racing and the finalists and winners being significantly influenced by facilties and guest options still an issue when in comes to integrity and the likelihood of enhanced national profile2 points

so the poole start marshal didnt go on track to remove tapes after poole gated but left them when oxford gated it is against rules for anyone to go on track when racing is under way ref should have stopped the re run in ht 15 once the start marshal went on track2 points

Fair enough, I don't know of any riders complaining about it either, it does have an adverse effect on viewing though imo.2 points

Will's GSA now down to 3.74 after 7 matches. That will do nicely if the GSA AV only cover matches in regular League season (i.e 16 maches). There are 3 matches left (1 hone - 2 away) so with Poole comfortably inplay offs and good chance the would be top. I would suggest Will is told to just enjoy getting track time & experience in those 3 matches and not push it. We could in effect see him nearer 3 than 4 which for team building 2026 would be a bonus if you factor in possible Rushen 2 - Bailey 4 plus Will on maybe 3.50. In effect 9.50 points for 3 of the brightest young talents in the sport. That would leave approx 30.5 for the top 4. Lawson 9.5/9.75 - Rowe 7.75/8(maybe lower as he is riding partly injured) - Cook or another 7.35/7.5 pus a rider maybe up to 5. You would expect Cairns to push on an add to his expected closing 2025 GSA and as for Rushen & Bailey ?. Well who knows but expect more upside in than their combined current GSA's.2 points

Watched the live stream. Referee Wayne Jarvis had trainee Josh Marsh with him. I wonder if the trainee had control by heat 15 and inexperience played a part in the events. If that was the case my feeling is that Mr Jarvis should have stepped in and stopped the race and ordered a re-run in the interests of safety. The referee’s report would make interesting reading. I would expect advisory notices to be issued to the Poole management, the starter, referee and trainee and rightly or wrongly that will be the end of it.2 points

I think it'll be really close for 2nd, 3rd & 4th. Ipswich could meet Belle Vue in the semi final as Leicester & Sheffield it still have to go to Birmingham & Oxford, plenty of away points available. All to play for, unless semi's are decided for "commercial" reasons?2 points

Absolutely not! Regardless of the calendar, and prevailing weather, tracks are NOT expected to be dusty! As one who attends several tracks fairly regularly, I can say with some certainty there are those where dust can be practically guaranteed, and others where it is never, ever, a problem. Dust at speedway is a result of inadequate preparation, not from any great expectations.2 points

Saw a photo of the track before the meeting, looked like the Somme so I didn't bother wasting my money.1 point

That was a rather emotionless meeting at Czestochowa, in fact quite boring, in what used to be one of the hot spots of the Ekstraliga. The Ekstraliga this season fails to excite me, and I notice that crowds in the Polish stadia are significantly down this year. I've said it before and I say it again, the total dominance of Motor Lublin, and to a lesser extend Torun and Wroclaw, is doing the league no good.1 point
-
My prediction is that if and when the new stadium is given the green light from the council Osbourne will the apply to demolish the abbey for housing. once he has achieved this he will drop the new stadium and it will never be built. Just like Reading. I really hope I’m wrong1 point

Iversen 42 now i think. Had some nasty injuries last decade or so. On his day can still be good but those days are few and far between. nicholls may well still do a job in the second tier when up to race fitness.1 point

So you would have replicated what they have now if you had an empty field to build a speedway track in? Interesting... Makes you wonder why no one goes and Cairns is losing fortunes!1 point

Can’t help but think Klindt picked 2 and 4 in heat 1 so he himself got gate 1 in heat 2 rather than what was the best pick for the team1 point
-
Comments like yours sums up how pathetic some people are. Just can't stop sticking the knife into Poole. Yes we were lucky to get another chance in heat 15 and yes Oxford may well feel aggrieved. But to say the points should be given to Oxford or the meeting rerun. Ffs. God help us.1 point
-
Meeting should either be declared void and rerun, with Poole paying all riders and management travel and points money. Or all points awarded to Oxford At the end of the day the SCB or BSPL need to act. More than one match official breached the regulations, there's enough video, photo, written and word of mouth evidence, that if the HSE saw it and decided to get involved, you wouldn't want to be stood by the fan.1 point
