It will when prepared properly, it's far too slick tonight but there's been some decent stuff never the less. There's no "trick" bends, it's a perfect size and a pretty good shape with proper speedway shale too.6 points

Baldy, even if all the above does come to pass -- and I truly hope it does -- there will be posts from idiots, nit-picking over the smallest of gripes, rather than praising the success..........5 points

Really hoping to come here about 10 tonight and read. Wow what a fantastic race track, brilliant racing, great stadium, no issues with anything, absolutely packed out, will defo be returning again and again4 points

Well I was really impressed. A great crowd, all the facilities you need and the track looks a good shape and size with plenty of room on the banked bends. The track was a bit slick tonight and gate 4 was an advantage but I’m sure they’ll improve the track preparation as the season progresses. Great to see the riders going full tilt with no concerns and also good to see the crowd react so well to any Foxes heat wins. Looks like plenty of home support and not just folk there for the event which augurs well.3 points

Pleased to announce that Premier Sports TV will be covering the Bauhaus-Ligan once again, and I will be on commentary. First match will be Eskilstuna Smederna v Indianerna next Tuesday at 6pm UK time.3 points

Don't think he can, Shane may get a reduction on his average as he's not ridden for a few years.3 points

That's a really inaccurate comment, but what you could pick up on when Cairnes came to the line for heat 14 was that he was 100% fired up for it. So no surprise he wanted to celebrate when he pulled it off, with a real gritty ride.3 points

It says on the clubs official site that nils is awaiting medical clearance to fly as he has been sidelined by a punctured lung. think it’s unfair to question his commitment under these circumstances. Article also says if he gets the all clear, he hopes to be riding in both of Mondays matches personally, I am glad he is doing some meetings to get sharp snd , match fit3 points

Pics can be deceiving, there wasn't enough dirt imo. A big pile on the infield (ready for stock cars on Saturday) though! I'm also a bit surprised they didn't lightly water it during grading breaks. The result was too dry and slick, meaning the outside groove didn't quite work, despite some valiant attempts from various riders. Even with these issues though, the track was still pretty good for a first attempt, very smooth, and I think it has great potential as a speedway track, a good size, shape and camber.2 points

That track must be brilliant. Four track records and it’s not even halfway through yet 🥺2 points

That's the whole point though, it is a load of bollox ... they never think through the wording and potential impacts on other regulations. The only good thing about tonight and the gloriously ambiguous regulations is that there's nothing riding (sic) on the result, because the mini-league is already decided. A win for Northampton would be good to get them orf to an extra-positive start, but the Witches riders are there to earn their crust ...2 points

If you sign a rider on a lower average, Gilkes being lower than Bowes, then the teams average does not matter.2 points

Anyone using their eyes could see Kerr was not under motive power at the point the race was stopped. He should have been excluded. Wouldn't have affected who won on the night, but it did change the destination of the bonus point.2 points
-
Apparently he hasn't got permission to fly, following the damage to a lung suffered in the crash.2 points

Absolutely lunacy to be thinking about replacing riders at this early stage. Speedway is not Premiership football. Thought the crowd was OK, but have seen it bigger. Long season still. Chatted to a few Plymouth fans, so fair play to them making the trip.2 points

Seriously though Mr Whitelinesniffer,, don't try and be funny or have a laugh on here,,, it's very much frowned upon,,, and heaven forbid you might have your own opinion on something,,, just behave ya self😝2 points

I know someone who swears an awful lot. He is a six foot four University lecturer.....Try telling him he's neither big nor clever!2 points

I know you're the biggest attention seeker since Donald Trump, but can you stop swearing and make lewd remarks? There's absolutely no need for it. It's not big and it's not clever.2 points

Really good video. I might just indulge in the chips and curry sauce later!2 points

My gut tells me Bowes could come good, but at the moment he's trying too hard, and over riding it. He needs to relax and ride instinctively, then the results would come. Might be in need of some form of support to give him some confidence. But time maybe running out? Also... I looked at the BSN tables and it struck me how crucial loosing the bonus point might prove to be for the Cheetahs. Surely one of the other second placed teams can score 5 points?!2 points

They'd sell more Foxes pens using RR. Missed opportunity there.2 points

Oxford are a far different beast without Erik Riss. With him, they should be favourites - without him, might even struggle to make the playoffs. He makes that much of a difference.2 points

Well i set up the Firestick with the Amazon Silk Browser like said and all was good👍 mind you ive still had to write down a step by step guide for my parents to follow just incase they get confused when i aint about come the next meeting, fingers crossed they get the hang of it after using this way to watch BSN after a few meetings, time will tell tho.2 points

Tricky one, i felt Kerr should have gone as he caused the incident. Whatever the reason he was still under power though as rode back to the pits so hard to say what caused the issue.2 points

To be fair, one is an individual event, so he only impacts himself, and the other is representing your country.... He is hugely better than young Cairns at this moment in time... If GB have an injury tomorrow, early (ish), in the meeting, they may not qualify...1 point

SCB STATEMENT: NIELS-KRISTIAN IVERSEN Thursday April 30, 2026 The Speedway Control Bureau were made aware on Tuesday 28th April that due to injuries sustained at the Nicolai Klindt Testimonial on the 15th March, Niels Kristian Iversen would be unable to travel to the UK for the Northampton Fixture on Thursday 30th April, as was still awaiting medical clearance to be able to fly. Mr Iversen competed for the Esbjerg club in the Danish League on Wednesday 29th April, therefore Northampton have been denied a Full Facility for the fixture on the 30th April, and have been informed that only the Reduced Facility as per SCB Regulation 011.4 would be permitted. Mr Iversen is expected to make his Northampton debut on Monday 4th May when they compete in two away fixtures at Belle Vue and Leicester.1 point

Kyle certainly improved after his first 2 rides. Maybe he needs to get 'fired up' in every meeting by a bit of a fracas in the pits?! (Thank you Mr Ritchings 😇)1 point

I feel very sorry for Joe. Although I have been critical of his selection in the past this year he has done a very good job. However, he has not "go to hell he’s kicked out" as his fixed term contract has come to an end. That is different from being kicked out. He has agreed to provide a service for 28 days. He did provide a service for 28 days. The club used his services for 28 days. The contract was fore filled by both parties.1 point

Went to the stadium yesterday and had a good look round loads of free parking looks like a lot banking on third and fourth bend.1 point

He is. Or that is what was said in interviews as season was starting. Unless he has helicoptor ride to the track 😁1 point

Given thel lack of fixtures you would think they could do better in arranging UK fixtures.1 point

When the team line up was confirmed before the start of the season, I was delighted that Gilkes would be replacing Joe T, as I thought that Joe unfortunately cost us some very important points last season and wouldn't win a race against the grading tractor. I've lost count of the number of chances Joe has been given with the Lions, but I agree, it would be harsh to let him go on current form. Didn't know he was using his brothers engine, is that the difference? I don't think that Joe has the same racing aggression as his brother, but seems to be a bit more on it this season. Is that down to confidence with the current engine?1 point

Yes, he does, I visited him last week with three friends. When you get to the front door you have to lean across some stretched elastic to press the door bell. As the door opens, the elastic shoots up you walk under it and he welcomes you inside. Unfortunately we all tried to get through the door at the same time and fell over. He sent us back out again for another go.1 point

I wonder if he has Red, Blue, White and Yellow mats leading to his front door from his driveway?🤣1 point

It hasn't taken you long to get fed up with Bowes, you were told about him before you signed him 😀1 point

He's only gone and bloody done it... and well done to him for speaking out... he's not telling us anything we don't already know that the BSPL chairman is rotten to the core (Quelle surprise) and desperately needs replacing, it's just a shame that it's taken this to get any rider to speak out about it... and the mind boggles as to the other goings on that we have never heard about... the BSPL makes Fifa look like the Salvation Army!1 point
