FAST GATER
9 minutes ago, cowboy cookie returns? said: I’d put Nicholls in over Tungate. Scott is still awesome around Foxhall & would out score Tungate comfortably at home. May not be so good away but you’d get more out of Nicholls over a season than Tungate. Also no concern if he will turn up or not. Just think the PL is a stretch for Scott now as he would be doubling up !
Witches1998
How about 1) Lindgren 8.13 2) Nicholls 5.39 3) Musielak 6.63 4) Thorsell 4.50 5) Brennan 7.05 6) Jenkins 4.50 7) Edwards R/S Total: 36.20

I'm not against it at all, Looks a good Team. 1
TTT
What I would say if defense of Tungate is that he was a No.1 in 2024 and his 5.89 holds significant value in a weakend League. Was he being paid by Oxford hence the problmes in 2025?

Was he being paid by Oxford hence the problmes in 2025? I don't think that's an issue - why rebel against not being paid by scoring less and thereby earning less when you do get paid. The fact he was riding at No.1 in 2024 and is now down to 5.89 suggests a rider on the downward to me rather then plenty in the tank. What he does have in his favour is that he's not a gating dullard.

Good signing on a 5.25 imo, If Brennan is the No.1 then silverware is a very long stretch imo so the next best option is to build a Team to win at Home.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Could it be that they are waiting to have the Northampton situation concluded before slotting in the final 2 If as some think the likes of Lawson Wright etc are embarked to be there they would be available if the new venture doesn't proceed
Pinny
Mid Feb, no concrete confirmation on how many clubs competing in the top tier and no idea (officially) who is behind the Ipswich take over. No signings either. Its mental . People wonder why the sport is not taken seriously. As I read elsewhere, this has been the worst close season I have ever known of. Absolute mess. The posts I have read on Scunny signing a team over the limit just about sums the state of the sport up.

ouch
4 hours ago, TTT said: If Thorssell is a 4.50 then Jenkins has to be released imo....Even though I like the lad. That's a ridiculous reduction for Jacob when his last GSA was 7.33. Jacob Thorsell last achieved an average in 2019 and therefore we will reassess him to 4.50. Robert Lambert last achieved an average in 2019 and therefore we will not reassess him to 4.50.

TTT
7.07-7.23 Left for a No.5 depending on the No.6. Should go all out for Lawson 6.81 if building to win at Home, In 3 of his 4 visits to Foxhall last season, Richard put up (9), (11+1) and (13) 1. T. Brennan 7.05 2. S. Nicholls 5.25 3. T. Musielak 6.63 4. D. King 6.50 5. 6. J. Thorssell 4.50 / J. Jenkins 4.49 / J. Jeppesen 4.34 7. J.
