Is there still nothing on the riders for the coming season?

Not officially as far as i know.

Lidsey, NKI, Klindt, and Kerr was four that i was told a few weeks ago. But with NKI's crash, that might of changed.

That’s the four I was told alongside Harrison as the RS.

Could be a reshuffle with NKI being out or they go R/R until he’s back and get what the can for the final three, also told that  Wright was approached but he turned them down weeks ago

No way they could get a facility for a rider who hasn't even been named in their 1-7 let alone not ridden for them.      Maybe a 'no facility' guest, but that'd be that....

With the way things are going they are probably going to be one of the weaker teams anyway... just what a new club needs to get the fans flocking in their thousands...!!!

If they are then also told that they can't have a proper facility for one of their chosen riders that really would put the lid on it...

Surely this should be a case of the famous... "In the best interests of the Sport"... rule... and this would be one of the more reasonable applications of it...

One million percent...

More meetings will have guests this season, again, than not, for a plethora of avoidable reasons, therefore Northampton starting with them, and even running all season with them, for something out of their control, isn't going to make one jot of difference to the credibility of the sport....

And, it is imperative that Northampton are competitive...

And, given the other promoters have put their team together, I am sure they will ensure it...

Whichever way it has to happen...

If they threaten to close their track that might get it. Also, whilst they’re at it they could get a reduction on their number one’s average.

What the hell is going one here? I keep looking every day on the interweb thinking surely there must be some news. Surely even what the team are to be called? The season has begun and we have little to no information about this new venture.

Interestingly enough I did some work in Northampton the other week and one of my clients used to follow MK back in the day. I asked him if he was looking forward to the new speedway at Northampton and he hadn't got a clue what I was talking about!!

Ah but it was very heavily hinted during the recent feature article on him in SS that he is going to be in the team, so in the circumstances that should be enough for a facility to be given

198 Guests used last season in the top two leagues...

With one less team in the top tier they are going to have to go some to beat it...

My money is on them to do it though...:D

How do you know he hasn't been named?  Just because they can't be bothered to tell the customers ...

After all, they've announced Northampton as a new team, but it seems that the track still hasn't been approved ... lots of assumptions being made ...
